Habitat Resort Broome

A really special little oasis. A lovely quiet pool surrounded by an expansive garden that seems to organically combine tropical and native vegetation creating a truly harmonious setting. Great place to just spend some time and unwind.

Very private, great for families and the pools and gardens were beautiful. The bungalows are spacious and you wouldn’t even know that there were other guests there because of how quiet it is. Owners are lovely and we will definitely be staying here from now on when we visit Broome.

Huge clean apartments with a good kitchen and fridge with plenty of room for six adults. Fantastic pools that are child friendly with lots of steps and gradual entry points. Staff are very helpful. Like most places in Broome its very central and maximum of 10 minutes drive from anywhere. Can walk next door to the Golf Club or to Simpson Beach.

The setting in the lush tropical garden is fantastic. The pool is amazing. Must have transport but handy to Enterance Point, Gantheame Point and 8 mins to town centre. Have stayed 3years in a row and always relaxing and quiet. A pleasure to stay.

I spent 5 days staying here for work in Broome. The place was brilliant. Had a fully equipped kitchen, in unit cooking, comfortable sitting room, laundry facilities in the unit, comfy bed you really couldn't ask for more, I lived my stay here. Really convenient to the town and Cable Beach.

My family and I booked into a 3-bedroom unit and the rooms themselves are pretty good for what you pay. Two rooms have a double bed, and the third has two singles. One room has an ensuite, and the main bathroom has laundry facilities. The unit is enough to sleep six adults comfortably, and we got an extra bed for the kids. The kitchen has a microwave, fridge, oven, toaster, crockery and cutlery, and more.
One aircon doesn't seem to pump as cold as the others, but when we mentioned it to reception they had someone out within the hour to look at it, and provided us with extra towels, bedding, and pool toys upon request.
There are two pools, one is smaller and quieter and has a great deck area and the other pool is on the other side of the lodge and has a waterfall, a slide, an island to swim to, and plenty of ledges for young people to swim to and rest on. The pools both have a shallow area to play in and then drops off to a much deeper section for bigger people to swim in.
All of the staff have gone above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable- giving us tours, telling us useful information about sites to see, fun facts, helping out with requests, etc, and we will definitely be back.

Habitat is the correct word. If you want to walk around a see wildlife this is the broome resort you need. You will regularly see like four types of lizard and geckos, goanna, the roos visit from the golf course, walk through the dunes to the beach at low tide for more.
And the pool is beautiful.

The apartment accommodation has all you need for a holiday. It's a home away from home. The unit is clean and exactly as described. It's always handy to have a washing machine and dryer (including clothes airer). It has a full kitchen including fridge (provides milk, tea/coffee)
The pool is good for kids and only a short distance from the accommodation.
There's a short walk to Roebuck Bay and excellent views for sunrise.

Great place to unwind. Just a little bit out of town, so very quiet, but close to the Golf Club for meals (and there's a shortcut to walk there). The hosts were extremely accommodating and helped to get me onto the WiFi network to pay some bills when my computer wasn't working properly. Will definitely be back.

Beautiful place, like a literal oasis in the heat of Broome, the gardens really sold it for me, keeping me cool as I walked from room to pool is a must being a southern WA woman. Gorgeous pools, clean and comfortable rooms, air-conditioning, local honey hehe and great customer service.

We unfortunately got stuck in Broome due to contracting Covid while on our trip and the Habitat did everything in their power to keep us housed so we could safely isolate and recover before being allowed to fly home. I can't thank them enough for helping to make our situation as stress free as possible.

Bonus! There are even a few local lizards and other wildlife living among the trees and gardens if you're lucky enough you will see them. I highly recommend this place when staying in Broome.

We had the best stay here! It was clean, roomy, comfortable and had all the amenities of home including a washing machine, dryer and air dryer. The owners are lovely, friendly and very helpful! I would definitely recommend staying here and buying some local honey here as well! We will definitely be coming back!

We came to Habitat on the spur of the moment because our booked accommodation was not suitable. The lovely people at Habitat arranged a taxi to get us there and looked after us so well for all of our 4 nights there. Habitat is a bit out of town, so a car would be good, but they helped us get where we wanted to go and the odd taxi was not too dear when rated against car hire. The 2 bedroom cottage was immaculate, the grounds lovely, the pool cold, but would be great when the weather is a bit hotter. Dave helped me sort out my computer. They could not have been better. I would stay there again.

This must be the very best resort to stay in Broome with magical bush, beautiful pools, great facilities and the most friendly staff around.
I absolutely loved my stay here and with any luck I'll be able to get an apartment here again when I come back to Broome

Fantastic! They are amazing and very accommodating, beautiful Broome style apartments, lush gardens, lovely pools, lovely and amazing track through the dunes full and alive of natural trees and bush tucker to beautiful beach, walk and dine at the golf club side by side this majestic place!
