Gwelup Playgroup

We have been attending gwelup community corner playgroup for a couple of years now. Both my kids love it. It has a great sense of community and facilities. I would recommend it to anyone.

' So cool not having to ever buy this much stuff to take up space at our own home. We enjoy the outdoor facilities and toy equipment as well as the arts and crafts room that has supplies managed by their arts and crafts officer who suggests creative ideas for us to try.
Gwelup Playgroup has toys suitable for kids under 5 and has kitchen facilities so us parents and caregivers can catch up over complimentary tea and coffee. Gwelup Playgroup is a lovely community playgroup where my son and I have made great friends. The facilities are excellent and there are lots of interesting toys along with a big playground. We look forward to our sessions every week.

I attended Gwelup playgroup for many years, initially starting with my mothers group. It was a great space to connect with other parents, who also lived in the same area. The space is very big with lots of toy options for my little ones to play with- suitable for babies all the way through to my 4 year old. Lots of things we couldn’t have at home due to space or money. Great imaginative play options which my boys just loved.
It is a very affordable social activity for us (for both myself and my kids) and we made connections with others who we have then attended school school with later down the track.

I would highly recommend this playgroup- a warm friendly space where I have really enjoyed many years with my children.

My daughter and I have been members of the Gwelup playgroup since mid 2020. During this time we have had the opportunity to meet many wonderful families in the community and make lasting friendships. The facilities are open all year round and boast a wide array of both indoor and outdoor toys, suitable for all ages between 0-5years plus there is a dedicated craft area too. We thoroughly enjoy our weekly playgroup session and highly recommend it to other families looking to socialise with other families in the area while providing our children a fun and safe environment in which to explore and play.

I've been a member of Gwelup Playgroup for 3 years and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an activity to do with little kids. There is an amazing selection of toys, and an allocated craft area with lots of great ideas and resources available. Outside there is a good playground, mud kitchen, and a large undercover outdoor play area - great for keeping out of the sun in summer, or for still getting outside when the weather is wet in winter! It's a good price (so it doesn't matter if you miss some weeks with inevitable kiddy illnesses!), and runs through the school holidays, and public holidays, which is super useful. I've always found people to be really welcoming, and have made some good friends. And being right next to Gwelup Lake makes for such a lovely location, and easy to factor in a little walk by the lake before or after!
