Gutter Gobbler

Booked for the 31st August, got an email on the day to say a part had broken and was coming from over East.rescheduled for Friday the 8th September. On the day received another email to say the part hadn’t arrived, could they come on Monday. Replied to say Tuesday would be preferable. Did not receive a confirmation email back, nor did anyone show up on Monday or Tuesday. Emailed to cancel booking and did not receive any acknowledgment of the email being received.

Booked multiple times through our strata company - NO SHOW several times despite promises and apologies that they would be attending (spanning multiple months). Appalling. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Gutter Gobblers helped me quickly and efficiently. Scott communicated what services he could help me with and always answered my messages. They turned up as scheduled, advised me of some areas needing repair and fixed some of my water overflow issues. Honest and reliable and I will be booking in again for their services next year. Thanks so much.

They did not turn up for the booking. No phone call, no text message, no email to say they couldn't come or to reschedule or simply as a courtesy. They just didn't turn up on the booked date.

Very pleased with the service they provided. Responded promptly to my questions; carried out work within two days of initial enquiry; turned up early; did a great job and were very professional and friendly. Would not hesitate to recommend Scott and will certainly use them again.

Prompt and professional service. A fantastic job done, last company I used just blew it out everywhere. Gutter Gobbler use a vacuum machine so everything is sucked out with no mess left behind. Very impressed & friendly people to deal with. Would definitely recommend.

Additionally, I asked if they would be kind enough to take a couple of photos while they were up there so I could work out why an area in my shed was leaking. They did so without complaint and then emailed me the photos through along with my invoice.

They seem to be a very friendly, competent company and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

I was booked in this morning at 8.30 (9/5/2018) to have my gutters cleaned. No show. Rang them and got no answer. Left a message to see if they were running late and got no reply. Very discourteous way to run a business. What annoys me is that I took 2 hours off work to be around while they done the job. Don't waste your time with them.

Had scheduled a gutter cleaning job with the Gutter Gobbler for 2 weeks with a confirmation email of the date. No one arrived on the date with no phone call or message advising they were not attending. Rang a few times after the weekend with no answer or call back?
I cannot comment on the quality of work (didn’t show up) but the customer service (lack of) is definitely sub par.

The worst customer service I have ever experienced. Gutter gobbler were due to come "between 10 and 12". At 12: 00 I called and was told that they were running late, and would probably be there by 1PM. At 1: 30 I called the mobile number and office number - no answer - left messages - no response.same again at 2: 30.and 4: 30. I called the following week to find out what had happened and was told that "they were probably held up by the weather" (it had stopped raining at 12: 30 that day) and asked if I would like to reschedule. Seemed surprised that the answer was "no"!

Update - As a result of this unfavorable review, I received a text from the contractor (to my private mobile phone number) threatening legal action!

Gutter Gobblers have done our gutters once before, no problem. We rang again two weeks ago and made an appointment for the following week at 10.00. No arrival. My husband rang at 11. The person who answered said he would find out the problem and ring straight back. My husband said he was going out at 2. No worries, would be before that. No call. My husband rang back at 1.45. No answer. Left a message. No response. Rang later that day. Left message. No response. We tried again the next day, same. I tried ringing the office the following Monday, thinking that for some reason, my husband's number was not being responded to. I left a message at the office. No response.
Gave up at that point and my husband cleaned the gutters!
Hardly great customer service. I have never posted an adverse review for any business before, by the way, only reviews for good service.

We just had Gutter Gobbler come to clean our gutters, who we use every six months to clean our gutters. We are always impressed with their reliable and prompt service and I find them very competitively priced for their vacuum cleaning service. Would certainly recommend them to all my family and friends and will continue to use them. Thanks again guys for a great job.

Not showing up + Not returning calls = Not Professional.

Edited: By incredible coincidence, I was called just minutes after my review was posted. The only thing I can suggest before potentially dealing with these people is to read the litany of reviews (here and elsewhere) regarding the No Show - No Returned Calls outcomes experienced by others. In hindsight, I certainly wish I had. Similarly, I'm sure I would have been far more understanding had my own experience not mirrored that of the many others before me.
