Greg's Discount Drug Store Midland reviews
42 More than 30 mins for a script. 1 person ahead of me. Disgraceful.
Definitely going back to my usual 5 minute wait.
Very rude and unprofessional chemist - same one others have left bad reviews about.
.
Probably the worst pharmacy I've been to. Told a 10 minute wait for a script but had to wait close to an hour. Wasn't given what I was prescribed either. They gave me a lower quantity. Poor form.
Great friendly local chemist who advise and help you with information about things relating to your health.
We come to this pharmacy on a weekly basis. I asked the pharmacist to sign a statutory declaration for me and that I was happy to wait. He brushed me off and told me he wouldnt do it. The stat dec was to try and keep my friends 35 year old british widow in the country after his untimely death. Its amazing how many people in need are ignored by those who were in the same situation. This pharmacist is an immigrant himself and for him, people put there reputations on the line, signing documents and stat decs just like we are trying to do for someone else.
To not help someone who is in a position that you were in yourself shows what kind of man you are. I didnt need to be there either and I am also busy but a little compassion would be nice. Heaven forbid that someone who makes a fortune on the sick, could spare 1 minute to give back to their own community.
Been using them since they opened. Super friendly staff who care about your needs. Great prices
Could drop off late mother’s meds for disposal but unhelpful getting ID certified despite prescription area quiet. No worries at Priceline Pharmacy, got my eye drops there too. Won’t be back to Greg’s.
Great prices, friendly front counter staff. One friendly male pharmacist, one grumpy female pharmacist, otherwise would be 5 stars.
As a diabetic who is really struggling with nation-wide shortages of my regular diabetes medication, I was really impressed with the service that I received from Ahmed last week. He took so much time going through various options for me, trying to help me work out what was going to be best to do because my regular medications were no longer available, printing out consumer information, helping me understand the pros and cons of each of the options because my specialist was on leave.
Then when I returned on Sunday to collect my new prescription and there was none of that medication left in stock either, the young female pharmacist (I didn't get her name unfortunately) went out of her way to help me try and find another pharmacy who had some in supply (not an easy task as that is also now out of stock, mine was the last available supply).
The care and professionalism shown by these pharmacists was exceptional. It's a shame that they are not closer to me as I wouldn't hesitate to use them as my usual pharmacy if they were. I had to travel 25 minutes just to get the advice and the prescription that I did. I hope that they receive this feedback and know how much their assistance at such a difficult time was truly appreciated.
Very rude staff- specially the pharmacist name Abdul on duty over long weekend - getting extra pay and not happy to serve customers. Been to pharmacist on Monday eve was totally empty and he made excuse that he is busy that can’t help.
Great chemist the pharmacist is a funny bloke and there is a coffee machine for you to make a coffee if your waiting for a script. Browse with a coffee while you're waiting or sit and relax.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS IF YOU ARE A PERSON OF COLOUR WITH DARK SKIN. I went into the pharmacy to buy a loofah, shampoo and a new hairbrush at 19: 10 this evening and was followed around by the caucasian, blonde security guard. I was made to feel even more uncomfortable, as one (of two) sales assistants was conveniently restocking products in whichever aisle I was in. I did not see them dedicate as much attentiveness toward any of the other (caucasian) shoppers. The franchisee and staff should be disgusted by their conduct. I did not appreciate being ‘othered’, so I will also be making a complaint to the National Justice Project via Call it Out (the Australian Racism Register). Shame on you.
They advertise themselves as a local minded chemist but the atmosphere in there is the opposite. This is all down to the one pharmacist that is almost always on duty and he’s horrible. Very cold and often rude demeanour, won’t answer questions within the purview of his job and is very disorganised. He will regularly attempt to overfill prescriptions without my or my doctor’s permission. He’s done this three times, twice with an addictive substance and twice without asking me first. The time he did ask me, it was his solution to my complaint that an item was never in stock. I don’t see how this solves the stock issue. I’m also fairly sure they didn’t give me the correct amount of back ordered pills but I have no proof of this. Once there was a glitch in the e-script system and he kept trying to give me the wrong drug, one I had never been prescribed. He was so argumentative I had to come back when a different pharmacist was on duty to get it sorted.
Finally, this place is billed as discount but I now save $50/m by going elsewhere. I wish I’d left sooner instead of spending so much time trying to make it work.
I give it 2 stars because everyone else was great, the techs and other staff were always very helpful and the two other pharmacists I saw were always very professional. They also have toilet paper when it’s scarce.
Avoid at all cost
If you where transgender or suffer from an Intersexed condition I'd avoid going here
Refuse my medication without giving me a real reason.
Then have another pharmacy fill my script no problems.
Made comments about my gender in front of other customers.
Asked me why I have male on my scripts in front of customers
Asked me to repeat my adress out loud Infront of customers
I don't often say anything but today I had the same pharmacist unwilling to give me my medication till I asked how his day was.
I don't think I will return again I'd stay away
Only chemist I go to, amazing opening times.
The pharmacists and servers at the prescription counters are always on point with customer service, AND KNOW THAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT; and then you’ve got the gorgeous girls to make sure you got everything you needed on the way out.
Always making me happy out of a depressing funk.
Thank you <3
AND STOP COMPLAINING ABOUT WAIT TIMES? !?
They have an amazing range of everyday products way cheaper than the shops to browse and comfy seats and even free hot drinks!
People can only do what they are capable of if they rushed you would end up with the wrong medication.
Love this Greg’s Pharmacy 5 stars every visit.and they know how to handle Karen’s ️
Customer service a joke! I tried to get a replacement nasal spray as the one I purchased from Greg's was faulty. Refused as I had no receipt - even though they had record of my script being filled there. Product was 12 months old but that is the whole point of an allergy medication - You only use it when you need to - Will never shop there again.
If you'd like to wait all day for your prescription, USE THIS PLACE!
seriously. THE SLOWEST CHEMIST IVE EVER KNOWN AND THATS SAYING SOMETHING. Grabbed our blanket scripts and went elsewhere. Regardless of price it's simple not worth the hassle.
Simply they don't care. Over charged me two months in a row. Credit still not there. I am over complacency and their mission statement of exemplary service. Totally unhelpful.
Worst customer service ive ever seen. The head pharmicist was so rude to my mum as she was picking up my script she put in an hr ago. She came back to the counter. He accused her of cutting in line and said she had to wait then my mum apologised as she didnt know how they ran their pharmacy. He then threw the scripts in a bag. The scripts were already ready and he decided to be so rude just because he could. He threw them at my mum and the customers looked as the pharmicist was so badly mannered. Customer service is meant to be friendly and these guys are meant to be friendly as they have no idea what their customers are going through.
Went to buy 50 pkt of face masks, the dogs wanted $50, selling at Chemist Warehouse for $20, disgusted at Greg's " discount", won't be going back there again
