Green Tea House reviews
23Great little shop tucked away. Owner is very knowledgeable about all thing Japanese tea and they have such a good range of teas and pottery to chose from.
The best tea experience in Perth! If you enjoy green tea or Japanese culture, this place is a must visit. The owner is a very friendly man who has decades of green tea knowledge. He will happily explain to you the processes, and about the varieties of Japanese green tea if you give him the chance. I would encourage you to take your time in this store, to respect the process and to enjoy yourself. I have found it's less busy on week days
Top quality Japanese tea from an owner who knows exactly what he's talking about and is passionate about helping you to choose what's best for you
A really nice place to learn about Japanese teas and the ceremonies around it. Hosts are really nice and keen to share their knowledge
Amazing experience! Loved everything about it and now loving the products we brought home with us.
Amazing shop! Handmade pottery from Japan and the owners will make you tea and explain everything as you sip! I could spend hours here!
My favourite place to go for Japanese tea. A lovely peaceful little shop tucked away in the corner, with a great range of fresh teas and cute teawares. They are very knowledgeable, always happy to help, and very generous with tea samples! I always spend more time in there than I think I will.
I had a lovely experience at the green tea house. The tea and service was fantastic and the owner had extensive knowledge of tea. I'll definitely be back!

What a little gem. This unassuming modest shop was tucked away in Subiaco off Hay St. It was an enlightening and entertaining experience. The owner was delightful and knowledgeable. Loved it.
Owner was so helpful, and proactive in explaining the essence of Japanese green tea culture, the history, the method of making proper matcha.
Fantastic store and exceptional products. Lovely gentleman even made us some tea which tasted great
I'm a cynic, but I was unironically charmed by this experience. I went looking for some green tea as a gift for a family member. The proprietor, clearly passionate about tea, served me some freshly brewed, some iced, and talked me through the choices. I left refreshed, knowing more about tea, and with some primo leaves. I will be back for more. Buy your tea here.
Most interesting Little Shop if you're interested in tea. Bought Matcha and it is the best Matcha I've ever had
My partner and myself went here to get some authentic teas to make some homemade ice tea. The gentleman running the store was lovely - graciously giving us tastings of a few of his recommendations, answering our questions about brewing techniques and giving us a wonderful educational experience beyond just trying to push a sale. You really can tell that he lives and breathes his tea and culture! We left with a couple of bags and it really made his day ️ a lovely experience over all
This man is an absolute genius when it comes to Japanese green tea. He was more than welcoming and so happy to share his knowledge about not just the tea but the process of how it is made and the ritual behind making it. Occassionally they do tea ceremonies here as well which I would love to be a part of.
Beautiful selection of tea and tableware, great for tea lovers and gifts.even got a little discount after buying a few things!
I have been buying my tea from the Green Tea House for some years now. Tommy sells some of the best green tea in Japan, including premium teas grown in Kyoto and Kagoshima. The atmosphere in his shop is relaxed and friendly, and I invariably learn something new about Japanese culture each time I'm there. Very highly recommended.
Love this place. Iwasaki-san will serve and teach you all about the teas he has on sale, so you get to try it before you buy and know how to brew it. There's tones of japanese dishes, utensils, tea pots and other Japanese things can be found here if your looking for a traditional gift.
