Every single person that works at Great Beginnings Kenwick is absolutely bloody amazing
My 4 and 2 year olds absolutely love GB, such a family vibe, Everyone at GB goes all out for each child and children are always put first

GB has raised/ continue to raise our three kids, aged 6,5, and 18 months, and we've experienced only exceptional service. They truly care about us and our children, going beyond our expectations. The long-tenured staff members are a testament to their shared values, collaboration, and are evidently in a supported and structured environment by management to regulate classrooms and achieve learning outcomes, which they go to a lot of effort to

Because GB Kenwick was the first daycare my kids went to, I didn’t know that all daycare’s didn’t hold a certain standard of care. I certainly wasn’t ungrateful, but I had NO IDEA how bad it could be. I was coddled by GB Kenwick; sheltered. We only ‘moved on’ because we bought our first house further away.
After thorough research into recommendations, we tried two other highly rated centres. Below, are my experiences with all centres.

The “after GBK” centres:

Screaming bedlam/mayhem during pickup; the kids are unhinged.

Socks/belongings regularly missing.

When picking the kids up in the early afternoon, unexpectedly, the staff were on their phones while the kids watch Peppa Pig off an iPad.

On the first day, they did not offer my 8-month-old breastmilk for the entire day, instead, treated him like a toddler. They offered water and food, but not once did they offer him the supplied breastmilk, despite verbally telling them several times in the morning, and supplying a written routine. When I brought Owen home, he guzzled over 400 mls of milk before passing out. I begged GBK to have us back and squeeze us back in, the difficulty for them to make such arrangements.

GB Kenwick – abridged:

Supportive of clean cloth nappies.

I’ve recovered odd socks they’ve gone to the effort to post Xplor app.

The centre goes above and beyond with late notice requests for casual bookings or last-minute urgent bookings.

A gorgeous formal “graduating” ceremony photoshoot for upcoming pre-primary, and package of delightful, thoughtful things including a leavers shirt.

Children’s behaviour is well managed and under control.
The same educators; Like I said, like furniture.

Children and educators alike form strong bonds with each other.
Dropping your kids off in the morning, knowing their needs are going to be met.

GBK are feel as close as family.

My daughter started daycare at Great Beginnings Kenwick recently and I have loved it so much! She is currently in the nursery. I receive notifications daily on what she is doing, her nap times, her feeding, nappy changes etc.

The staff there are so lovely! They welcomed us with open arms and I definitely trust them in the care of my daughters. I recommend Great Beginnings to anyone searching for a trustworthy and reliable daycare!

My daughter was at the centre for 1.5 years before we moved out of the area. She attended from the time she was a few months old and I feel the care that she received was exceptional. You can tell that the team genuinely love their jobs which meant I always felt that my daughter was 100% nurtured and cared for. Their communication was excellent so I felt like I was a part of her day still also. I miss all of the wonderful staff at the centre and thank them for helping my daughter become the bright, confident little girl that she is.

A huge shout out for the whole team at Kenwick GB. My son has been attending the centre for a year now and he’s formed amazing relationships there and he loves it.

The educators right through to the management team are amazing and so supportive, and they keep me updated with my sons progress and what he’s been up to each day. I highly recommend this centre, they are truely fantastic!

My son has been coming to the center for two months now and he has changed a lot. The biggest change is that he has trust in adults and doesn't avoid touching people anymore. He told me that he loves every educator at the center. Every child gets a warm morning cuddle from an educator, and every educator is friendly and says hello to the parents, even though they may not know you. But finally, you will find that they all already know you and know your child by name. Every week, even every day, the center has different and interesting activities. Children don't just play at the center, they learn a lot. After only two weeks, my son can count to twenty. Last week, he actually told me the names of the eight planets in our solar system. I really appreciate everything. The only thing I regret now is why I didn't found this childcare earlier!

Could not fault GBK in any way! They have been amazing from day one with my daughter and she loves going there on her regular days each week.

I am very happy to put my baby boy into great beginings Kenwick and more so to see the same staff that looked after my daughter back in 2017-2018. They are very professional reliable friendly team that make you feel as a family. Their communication is great so easy to talk too. I know my kids are in good hands and well looked after. I can't recommend them enough. Best childcare in the Kenwick area.

My son has attended this service since he was 4 months old and he is now almost 2. I can’t praise the Educators enough for the hard work and dedication they give to my son. The Educators are always warm, welcoming and nurturing when you arrive and leave the service. The service environment is very warm and inviting. I’m very happy with the high quality care that is provided to my son. Kindyhub is a great way to see what our son has been doing throughout the day as my husband I work full time and to know he is in the best care makes it great! We have been going here for 5 years now and i still love it. It is a beautiful environment for children and the quality of care keeps excelling beyond my expectations.

Beautiful centre the staff are amazing all the staff are beautiful people the children are always happy when their there and are always happy.

My son has attended the service for over 12 mths now. He suffers severe allergies and the staff are so helpful catering for all his needs still cooking him meals just like the other childrens minus all the food he can't eat. They are always so friendly and helpful it is like his second home. I have recommended their service to all my family and friends.
