Great Beginnings Halls Head

My son Franky began his journey in nursery one, the transition in leaving him to go back to work became much easier than I had anticipated, that’s all down to the wonderful educators who took great care of him.
I would like to thank all those who have cared for Franky, particularly Lorelei and Grayson we really appreciate you and your hard work doesn’t go unnoticed.

The ladies here are lovely, everyday we are greeted with a smile and a hello. They go above and beyond to help your child learn and encourage parental input for activities/food so that your child is experiencing things they enjoy. The centre is always clean & tidy.

Great beginnings are demanding that we pay for the recent lockdown period, whilst our child was not in attendance, due to not been essential workers. Area Manger threatening us with debt collectors if not paid. Didn’t care that both myself and partner wasn’t working. Area manger said she still had to pay for her gym membership in response.

All the staff are polite, happy, loving, caring and accomodating. They have made going back to work so much easier for me after having a baby! Thank you ladies!

My daughter has attended great beginnings hallshead since early 2020 and she absolutely loves the centre and all of the educators. She has excelled in all aspects of her learning and social skills.
I 100% recommend this centre to anyone. The staff are all so very accommodating and more than happy to help wherever necessary.

Such an amazing daycare. Great educators, great communication and the activities they do with the kids are wonderful. Can not recommend enough.

We transferred our daughter to Halls Head Great beginnings in 2020. She absolutely loves day care and all her educators. Centre is very ‘family’ feel, always welcoming and friendly!

I've sent all three of my kids here, can not say anything bad, the girls are all lovely and the centre has great learning resources.

I can’t fault the care that my son has received since starting at Great Beginnings Halls Head. The educators are so caring & nurturing. My son loves going in each day.

My family has been fortunate to attend Great Beginnings in Halls Head since they opened in 2018. We have loved our time there, the educators are knowledgeable, friendly and attentive to the needs of the children. It is up to date with current early learning pedagogies, resources and their learning opportunities/ programs are transparently documented in centre and on the Xplor app. We have had an exceptional grade of service being a family that has 2 children with severe allergies and anaphylaxsis. They are vigilant, organised with training and paperwork, their actions are frequently proactive and my mind is at ease leaving my children in their care while I work.
I would highly recommend the centre to anyone, especially families that are looking for real, down to earth staff that go above and beyond.

My little one has been here for 3 years and has grown amazingly. She learns so much and has the best fun. The centre staff are incredible always keeping you informed every step of the way. Highly recommend the centre. I was drawn to its professional appearance and fell in love with the warm culture.

I am very impressed with my daughters daycare centre at Great Beginnings in Halls Head. When I first rang up to enrol, I had just received a new full time position that was starting the next Monday and I had 2 days to enrol before that time. Great beginnings helped me do it all over the phone and internet with ease and I was very grateful for the assistance given during that process.

As a first time mum, I was very nervous when dropping my daughter off for the first week. I wrote extensive notes and tried to explain her normal daily routine. However it turns out, just trusting the carers to work with my daughter proved the better method in the end.

Overall, I am very happy with the service provided. My daughter has taken to all her carers like they are family and that's exactly what I hoped for. I wanted her to know she was loved and taken care of while at the centre.

Thank you for everything so far, we will definitely be staying at Great Beginnings until my daughter reaches school level.

My little one really enjoys his days here. The food is yummy and they always think of fun things to do. No two days are the same at this daycare as they always create new and fun activities. I also like how the team teach the kids manners - my little one is forever saying "Please! " The educators are lovely and make our boy fee very cared for.

Both my children like it here, my daughter has been going for 2.5 years now and my son 6 months. There has been new management recently and Amy is very efficient and helpful.

Awesome centre with excellent staff! My son absolutely loves going to daycare each day because the staff are so friendly and genuine. They are very accommodating and provide him with so many wonderful learning opportunities each day. Very easy to communicate with and really understanding of the needs of their families. Couldn’t be happier with the facilities and staff.

I recently left great beginnings. The educators are wonderful however I have never experienced such incompetence from the assistant centre manager and manager of this establishment. Emails back and forth since April in regards to fees I don't owe and still not rectified! Would not recommend unless you want to be stuffed around!

I was sceptical if daycare as I’d been a stay home mum for 3 1/2 years and I take my job very seriously. The thought of leaving my children with strangers terrified me - I’d checked out a few daycares and none tempted me to try until I messaged great beginnings. The response was immediate and from that point I was sure this was the place for me. A brand new Centre - I was allowed to view the Centre with my children have several stay and plays before I their first day. Every staff member I have met has been wonderful and they made us feel very important not just a number. The communication is fab I can’t recommend them enough and the kids love going

Absolutely amazing! Brand new facilities, caring staff and absolutely outstanding experience for my twins. Couldn’t be happier with this place.

I love great beginnings, it was hard finding a daycare my son and I felt comfortable in. The ladies are wonderful and helpful! My son enjoys his days there, I love the vibe that I get when I walk in. Definitely a good choice in daycare
