Great Beginnings Bunbury

My daughter has attended this centre for the past 2.5 years. At all times she has has been safe, supported and come home full of new knowledge that she has loved sharing with her family.
Great Beginnings Bunbury has been a fundamental part in getting her ready for big school and we feel so lucky to have got her into this daycare.
Amy (Manager) is absolutely wonderful and takes her job seriously always honest and happy to help.
Daycare is a new world for new Mums but I feel so confident in enrolling my 2nd/last child knowing she will be just as supported and loved in her daycare journey!
I couldn’t recommend Great Beginnings enough and just feel so grateful for what the centre has offered our family!
I believe that any family who enrol in this daycare will be met with professionalism and total dedication to looking after your little ones during a perhaps emotional time.

After having been informed by staff that I could not apply for holiday care for my son until Friday the 26/11/2021, due to that being the date they email out the necessary forms, I kept an eye on my email all morning. Having not received an email from them I called them 3 times to get them to re-send it to me. It was only when I went in at 2: 10pm that they were willing to do it properly and ensure I received it. They then happily told me "four weeks of the holidays are booked out" (which is so useful when going to work depends on holiday child care). The impression I get is that due to the very high demand for child care in the area that there really is no incentive for decent customer service. If ones not happy well there are plenty in line to replace them. Also cheerful staff does not mean they actually care.

Has been the worst daycare experience. Nothing but issues after issues. Kids had been Nothing but sick since being there. Countless times my sons nose was in an absolutely terrible condition. Could see it had not been wiped for hours, he was not the only child in this condition. The manager is not helpful in fact is rather non responsive and let's the entire centre down.
So many payment issues. They would take the money out on the wrong days then charge a fee for not paying. They have also taken more the said amounts. Would not even look at my back statement and denied all. Now are claiming that it takes over 3 weeks to pay out the money they owe which goes against what their paperwork states.
Absolutely terrible
Management happily blames staff for her own mistakes and lack of attention.
I have so many emails backing up why I feel this way.
They don't even follow their own protocols.
Extremely disappointing.

This is the only day care our daughter has been in. She was very reluctant at first, and the team made us feel confident she was in good hands, and settled her quickly. She has now graduated from the babies to toddler's room, and loves the stimulation, games and learning (always has). We love the updates we get from the app, letting us know what she has done, photos, what she has eaten, and when she has slept.

Great beginnings has provided great service and care for my son he has learnt so much and we are going to miss all you kind hearted women thanks so much I would recommend to my friends

When we were leaving from our first day of trail (me and my daughter stayed there for 20-30 mins), my daughter being a 2 year old was holding one of stackable blocks and one of educator asked if that’s theirs. I said yes and I expected them to understand that what kid her age do and I said I am just going to settle her from being overwhelmed with the whole experience and distract her and give the block back. Educator said JUST TAKE IT FROM HER, YOU HAVE TO BE MEAN TO HER, IN ANY CASE SHE IS GOING TO CRY! Not just my daughter but I myself was too traumatized, saddened and shocked from this awful experience. I would never recommend this daycare to anyone. Her wording on the day of first meeting was I understand all the parents as they are trusting us with their world AND THIS IS WHAT YOU DO TO MY WORLD instead of a gentle approach. She is 2 year
Old and you are a grown female educator with an education to know how to deal with kids but zero empathy. So disappointed!

So friendly & welcoming. They’ve worked hard to help my very clingy baby to feel comfortable. The food always looks great & I love the little updates provided during the day through the app on how baby is going, great peace of mind. Always clean & the carers really care. 100% recommended.

Great Beginnings Bunbury is the best daycare that I have ever dealt with. My three children have been attending for 8 years. My daughter is now 9 and enjoyed all her years there from age one to six. My twin boys are nearly four and have been attending for three years. One of the boys has complex needs and uses a wheelchair. Great Beginnings has been wonderful and ensures all of my children’s needs are met including regular visits from Occupational and Physiotherapists. They have also been an integral part of the transition of my boys to Kindy.
Great Beginnings Bunbury use technology extensively and I love being updated on what my children are doing via photos and stories throughout the day. I also love being able to manage my bookings via an app on my mobile.
The staff are amazing, friendly and qualified. The manager is calm and friendly and maintains a high quality of staff, facilities, experiences for children, documentation and food. They are also very disciplined with regards to creating learning journeys and authentic learning experiences.
I will continue to travel across Bunbury to keep my children attending Great Beginnings Bunbury.

My children and I LOVE great beginnings bunbury. We have been attending here for the last 2 years and have never had a problem. All the educators are wonderful and friendly. The children always want to stay! Mel the centre management and Amy the fill in centre manager when needed, are excellent and can answer any questions you have. Very rarely can it be hard to get extra days here but I am always understanding because it's such a great daycare! Hidden gem!

Our child has been attending for over a year now. The facilities are awesome- two separate play areas (babies/toddlers and older kids). We absolutely adore everyone who works here. They treat our son with so much love and kindness. He's grown, and learnt so much in that short time! I'm so grateful for how wonderful they are.
