Goodstart Early Learning Mount Nasura reviews
11 As a parent accessing childcare for the first time I relied on parent/carer reviews to help determine whether this centre would be suitable. For this reason I feel it’s important to leave this one star review to capture our experience since it seems to be so different to a majority of others. Although in hindsight, the other one star reviews referencing poor administration clearly had some merit.
We personally had issues with allergy management, communication and on-boarding. Without going into specifics, it was serious enough to capture the attention of ECRU – so not simply an unfounded complaint from a disgruntled parent. After leaving we provided our feedback not only to the centre but to the Goodstart head office and regional manager – which has yet to be acknowledged after 5 weeks. I think that provides all the information you need to know about the Goodstart brand when they can’t even be bothered to acknowledge the seriousness of our complaint. Probably too busy posting memes on Facebook.
I’d encourage anyone to tour multiple centres and do as many orientations as you need. Ask questions. If you’re not satisfied with their response, seek care elsewhere. We persisted for way too long despite multiple incidents, red flags and questionable practice. After starting at a new day care the ineptitude of the Goodstart management has become even more evident. There are good day cares out there, but in our experience this is certainly not one of them.
Edit: It's been about 9 months since we've left the centre and no one from Goodstart (the centre or head office) has reached out to acknowledge my complaint. I've noticed they've replied to all of the positive feedback but have ignored others. Makes you think that malpractice is a common occurrence and they're strategy is to just ignore it! Do better.
Following on from my wifes review. I too have been there to collect my granddaughter and been a little shocked at times by what I have seen. Think twice before sending your kids here. Bribery for good reviews says a lot. People are too scared these days to speak out against unacceptable levels of service but I believe when it comes to our kids we must speak up.
My daughter has been attending Goodstart Early Learning Mt Nasura since early 2021. The team showed compassion, kindness and confidence in their ability to care and nurture for her while I transitioned from maternity leave to full time employment.
I am now back on maternity leave with my second child and continue to send her twice a week. She loves it. The staff regularly update her progress to me via the storypark app which is an awesome tool of communication. I get to see her outdoor playing, crafts, book reading and singing rhymes.
The team show they love their job when they want to find you at pick up to tell you the cool little things your child has done that day.
My daughter has been attending Goodstart Mount Nasura for nearly a year now. She loves all of the educators and so do we.
We recently celebrated a second birthday and goodstart made sure to celebrate and make her feel that little bit special as well.
Mount Nasura is very family friendly, hosting grandparent days and Christmas family events.
Definitely appreciate all the work the educators put into the children they come in contact with and I 100% recommend them
My kids absolutely love going to Goodstart Mt Nasura! The educators there are phenomenal. Everyone goes above and beyond to make sure the kids are having the best day filled with lots
Of educational and fun activities. My kids are really thriving there, I cannot fault them at all! Oh, and they have pet chickens, how cool is that!
I have had my daughter at Goodstart Mount Nasura full-time since she was around 8weeks, she’s almost 1 now and loves going there, the ladies are honestly almost like a second family - there isn’t high staff turnover like I hear at some centres, so she’s known all the staff since she started there. She has developed amazingly this past year, socially, physically and in language - they assess each child regularly, and support all the kids development while keeping your personal wishes at heart
I have had nothing but positive experiences with them, and am so grateful for all the care and love all the staff put towards my daughter, I’m so comfortable that she is receiving much love and great care during the day at your centre. I couldn’t have stumbled on a more wonderful group of women to care for my baby girl - thank you for all that you have done and all that you continue to do?
I love this place. Following a bad experience with a day care.in Bedfordale I was a.little desperate t find somewhere at short notice. Theyre now like a second family. Awesome staff dn educators. Plus Happy Feet run a class there once a week. Hugely recommended.
As a first time mum, this was the first daycare I've ever sent my daughter to. I've been so happy with this centre, all the ladies are lovely and have really gone above and beyond to make sure my little girl (who is a big mamas girl and super clingy) feel comfortable and happy! They listen to the kids and and go at the children's pace. The focus on building relationships with all kids rather than just letting them be. Wouldn't go anywhere else highly recommend!
Great centre, with passionate and dedicated educators who offer high quality early years learning and education. The centre is warm and welcoming, and rooms offer lots of opportunity for learning through play and sensory/discovery.

My daughter has attended Good start Mt Nasura full time all the way through from the nursery up to the kindy room.
During this time we have had the chance to really get to know all of the staff. We have loved having her attend this center and she has learnt and grown in leaps and bounds during this time. The staff are friendly, nurturing and well experienced.
From the minute you walk in to the center it feels warm and welcoming (and even a coffee machine for parents on the go), The rooms are big and well lit with a regular rotation of new toys to play with and learn.
We are also able to see what is happening by using the Storypark app which has regular updates, photos and stories which we really love.
Having a child at daycare and returning to work was very daunting but having this app really helped me as i could see for myself what she was learning and that she was having fun.
I highly recommend to any parents in the area looking for a center that they go and have a look at Good Start Mount Nasura.
