Good Sammy Southern River Op Shop & Containers For Change reviews
9Customer service is always very good and you feel comfortable asking for help. It would definitely be 5 stars but there are a few items the store is selling for an odd price. There's been a target guitar worth 25 new going 50 at the store. People who typically go to Op shops are less fortunate and seeing a product be worth double what it is worth brand new doesn't feel right. Feels like there's just a very small amount of products that could be researched a little bit better but you can't complain to much it is a difficult job trying to judge the price of certain products so wouldn't use that as a reason not to go but if it isn't clothing I would double check unless of course you wanna contribute to the organisation:)
Needs a sign about loyalty cards and discount redemptions and exeptions
Mangers need to be more friendly to their staff
All i have to say is that i found a five cd and a cassette of someone winking
and some band called yazoo
not bad
Walked into Good Sammy Store with some clothes and approached the lady at the till asking her where I could leave it. She told me she to just hold on and then another lady wearing a mask came out of the storeroom and abruptly told me that the store is closed and that they’re in any case not accepting donations. It was confusing as I was right inside and in any case thought it would just be taken by a staff member into the storeroom. This is not the first time I experienced this type of reception in the same store. As items are in very good condition, I will probably donate it elsewhere in future.
Some of the worst experiences I've ever had was told very bluntly not taking any donations and go somewhere else. Nothing more after waiting 5- 10 minutes for service.
Went to Salvos after, was greeted straight away and thanked for my donation fantastic customer service at Salvos.
Always find a good bargain here with staff who always try to make you feel welcome and try to help everyone
Best and favourite shop sor always find bargains and great prices friendly staff good layout of shop
One of the nicest to rummage through. Stay open late also I see as driving home after work at 5pm, have yet to stop in that late however, must do at some point.
Love a good search thru all second hand shops but good sammys is starting to price themselves out of the market
