Good Sammy reviews
17Had the same experience as previous person. Walked in, no help when asked & no hello. When I asked for help the worker turned the signs around so I could see the price and then walked away with no communication! Leeane, the Manager did come to speak to me when the worker was rude to me twice! With a manager like leeane, they will learn every thing they need about retail. Very lovely Manager!
Visited the store today, all staff were miserable. No hello, no thank you. Nothing but scowly looks and unhappy volunteers. Terribly disappointing.
The clothes aren't sorted by size so it's impossible to find anything. Also, some clothes are quite over priced
I bought some antique decorations that were beautiful and amazing. Some shop like a treasure for me to hunt, price also cheap, especially kitchen ware. I will be Good Sammy when I have time.
The cashier was friendly and helper in that shop. Location is close to Bull Creek train station by bus, i think it was convenient.
Its good but there gold section is ridiculous, charging $50 for basic brands that are retail price.
This is always a great place to find a bargain and something different then other clothing shops
A big place stocked to the max with second hand clothes crockery, toys books, glassware etc. As an added bonus this store is a depot for "Containers for Change" the new WA government mandated deposit scheme for a wide range of drink containers. Simply drop in your bottles and cans to collect the 10c refund on deposit on each one.
I quite like popping into Sammy's. Always seem ro find something to buy. All pretty reasonably priced as well.
We got a very rude treatment from the Asian lady manager this morning, 22 September. We were returning faulty electronic items and exchange it with Multiple other items. When we were about to pay, she was shouting at us as if we were doing something wrong. Saying that we are not allowed to return the new items we got today, anymore. We are not planning to return those items we bough today anyway, especially we only bought clothing! Very very rude! Good Sammy needs to do a review of their staff! We definitely not going back to that shop anymore. There are better Op Shop around the areas with better attitude.
I re visited after a year and thank god youv replaced the pommy blonde ladies with much friendlier staff. The british ladies were on a high horse in that shop for years! Im glad its changed
Went today looking for some special items and found just what I wanted and only cost me two gold coins. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Will never go back to this store again. I went to the counter with a shirt for my dad that I found in the men’s section then was told by one of the older more senior workers the shirt was “actually from the gold seal section and the tag had been taken off” so if I wanted it the “best she could do” was now $15 instead of $4. I don’t think it’s the customers fault that they find a shirt that was misplaced and minus the gold seal tag.
Love this place if I need something I'll go there be for buying new. I be leave recycling. Big time
Worse custimer service ever by Dawn and she was so rude to me after me spending $110 in store told me also dont loose your stamp card we dont have lots of them treated me like a child will not go back
A standard Op Shop, but bigger than most. Yellow drop bins at front for clothes and linen. Breakables and everything else you have to go to the counter to handover the goodies. Numerous staff and reasonable parking, although car access arriving and leaving from Norma Road is easier than Marmion Street due to the volume of traffic, Garden City Shopping Centre is just up the road to the east. Attentive staff although you usually have to initiate conversation or ask questions, these are volunteers not professional sales people so a little respect goes a long way.
Good Sammy sell some good variant used fashion, cookware, furniture. The store has some nice people to serve us. They also has a promotion $1 each for some occasion. Never regret to buy from Good Sammy. It is a good concept that is very helpful to international students who has small budget to live. It is also very support for us who like to do shopping and charity. We like to buy in Good Sammy for contributing to the people who need it. Only one thing that i will not longer buy that is footware. It is just good at the first time but there is also a problem while using it. But the others are fine.
Love ALL Good Sammy's no matter where I am If I see one I will do my best to pop in & see what bargains they have to offer & I never ever leave empty handed. Thankyou - another person's "trash" is going to be somebody's "TREASURE". Be aware of what you throw out.can someone use it? Donate. Reuse. Save the planet. Save the people.
