Good One BBQ Chinese Restaurant reviews
64Honey chicken was absolutely delicious. Good portion, nice generous honey coating, crispy chicken pieces with a hint of smokey bbq flavour.
With being a regular customer i am very disappointed in the quality and temperature of the food we have received from yous tonight. Not only was our food cold when it had arrived the food was no where near upto your usual standards. Dry & cold chicken, lack of flavour in satay beef, fried rice was soggy and missing the shrimp and chicken. The bbq pork would have been nice if it wasnt cold and we had recived the sauce that usually comes with it.
I hope this is just a bad order/night and yous havent had to let go of your normal chief but sadly this has made us think twice about ordering from yous again.
We've been customers of this restaurant for many years but last time we tried to order they said they only accept cash not happy at all, service has been below normal standards
This BBQ place is very average. Duck was not crispy pork was like rubber soya chicken ok expensive. Avoid this place if u want Chinese BBQ
The food portions are quite worthwhile for their prices. The wantan noodles are nice, but I've had better fried rice and roast meat. Overall, an above average Chinese restaurant in the vicinity.
Cozy restaurant, quick service, delicious food. Conveniently located. Easy to get to by public transport or by car.
The food quantity served is very generous.
Decently priced menu, great for everyday meals as well as occasions. Make sure to make a booking the place does get pretty busy.
For a restaurant that is plain in decor, the food is brilliant and priced very well, a regular customer and will continue quality at budget price, love the place
Went there on a Tuesday and saw the 3 course Peking duck special only available on Tuesdays. Except the special wasn't available and even though the Peking duck was! Unbelievable, isn't that false advertising?
The Peking duck was fairly good. But we also ordered a vegetable dish was extremely salty which was a shame.
The service was good though.
Came from New Zealand with some family and needed an urgent books ng for 14. These guys did a great job of accommodating and the food was great at a great price. Thanks a bunch guys.
I had roast duck and rice here recently and it was so good! The portion was enough and the duck skin was so crispy! I have had roast duck from another restaurant since and it was no where as good as Good One's.
Hit and miss this place. Been many times and on two occasions had upset stomach a few hours later. My visit today resulted in me leaving before I ordered as one of the waiting staff was suffering from a bad case of flu and coughing and sneezing in the area where the chef prepares BBQ meats. Not good enough!
My favorite place for a no frill but simply good food for lunch with quick and attentive service. Price is moderate and parking is available nearby or TransPerth bus will drop you right in front. A good selection of BBQ pork, Roast Pork, Chicken, Duck or a combination of two. Black Pepper stir fried noodle is highly recommended.
The food are so nice! Look at the pictures! The prices are reasonable too! Hope they have a bigger restaurant in the future that will be more comfortable for dining.
The crispy duck was good. The braised beef was very salty. The waitresses were very attentive and friendly
Wanted to try this place because of the reviews were decent and it was close by. We made a phone order and then picked up the food.
We had the Shanghai Fried Noodles, Fried Rice noodles with Beef in egg gravy and the wonton noodle soup. The food was all ok. Flavours were there but a bit underseasoned.
Thought it was nice that they wrapped up the containers in cling film so that things didn't spill in transit.
Great chinese BBQ restaurant. My favourite fried rice in Perth. Decor is not fancy, but service is great and food is delicious.
No tap water to serve for customer, but you can buy a bottle of water. This’s a funny experience LoL
Menu prices have increased after the slight remodel, but the quality of food has not. Any of the other Chinese restaurants in vic park (2 of which are in easy walking distance) are better value and at least as good or better quality. The prices are no longer competitive.
Very bad service! Rude and dodgy! Be very careful about their Groupon! If you can’t be super punctual (even just 5 mins late), don’t buy! They will take advantage of it and refuse to serve and ask you to contact Groupon! Sometimes with a young child and under bad traffic, it is hard to be just on time. They won’t even accept the option that customers just do a normal full price dinner taking the Groupon as a credit to redeem part of the bill! A clear ripoff!
Update: New management are great, maybe the oldies were bitter and burnt out but the new are nice and the food still good.
Good food but the staff are rude! Stick with takeaway so you don't have to deal with them and check your orders before you leave.
