8Great range of shoes, but the service was terrible, i had a young girl trying to help, but could hardly hear what she was saying tried getting more help, but the older woman in the store didn't seemed to be bothered, so we walked out
I bought a new pair of shoes this morning. The service from the staff member that dealt with me was great. I will be going back in The near future for more shoes.

Went into Gommes today to purchase shoes for my elderly mum. I explained to the assistant that mum was in the car but had a walking frame and couldn't negotiate the step up into the store. This lovely girl showed me the styles available, I chose 3 pairs that may be suitable and we then set off to take the shoes to the car for mum to try on. This assistant swapped places with another who was serving a customer who needed more assistance and then we proceeded to the car. Mum was able to try the shoes on, made her selection then the assistant and I returned to the store for the purchase. I believe this is above and beyond excellent service. I can't recommend Gommes' staff enough!
Friendly staff and they know there stuff and if you can't find the shoe you want they won't hassle you to try something else on just to get a sale, if they know where you can get them they'll point you in the right direction.
Just picked a pair of shoes from the bargain box $19.95 went into shop to be told thats the wrong price should be $69.95. No apology, other pairs same style had the same price. Won't be returning there watch what you pick up.
I used to buy a lot of my shoes here but find the staff either out back or having a chat amongst themselves and don't like being interrupted. There is one nice lady who I check to see if she is working before I go in there.
I have shopped here a few times and they get a lot of business from my extended family but after the way the 'lady' manager treated me today I will never ever go back. She was so rude - I have never been treated as badly as the way she spoke to me. I felt terrible as I left the shop.
