Golden King BBQ Express

I have been a returning customer for more than 10 years now. Always consistent food. Best char Sui in the area. Not the flashiest venue by any means, service is not overly friendly either, but you will be impressed by the food.

Sorry to say, used to be one of the best in the area, not up to standard on this occasion or other recent visits. Won't be back until I hear the standards have been lifted.

Heaps of noodles with hot piping soup. Natural and refreshing. Plenty of wontons and some vegies on the side. Don't forget to put some white pepper on-top and eat with picked chilli! Noodles were slightly overcooked but still delicious!

They serve very nice roast pork, barbeque pork, steamed chicken. Apart from that, I've found the rest of the items in the menu quite ordinary.

Drawback to this eatery is that they don't accept any card payments, so you have to come armed with hard cash.

No roast pork available, the roast combination was cold and therefore a bit dry and chewy. Quite disappointing. The saving grace was the kuay teow fried noodles, they were good! The Kai Lan was as you would expect. They now have eftpos.

Easy parking at the front, small and cost place, and reasonable service. We ordered Char Siu, Roast Pork and Roast Duck. Char Siu was very sweet for my liking and it was on the dry side. Roast pork was good but the skin was not crispy enough, however the Roast Duck was perfectly cook. Price is similar to that of Northbridge.
