CAUTION: Very slow repair service.
This store is fine, BUT GODFREYS REPAIR SERVICE STINKS.
1. I have been a loyal customer for 20 years and bought all my vacuum cleaners, carpet shampooer, spotlifters, etc at this store.
2. The Cannington store was franchised and they did all repairs in the store, usually in a day.
3. I bought a vacuum cleaner for $399 with a 2-year warranty just before the franchise was taken over by Godfreys.
4. The machine developed a fault after about 14 months. I took it to the store and was told the beater head had to be sent away for repair. NO REPAIRS ARE DONE BY THIS STORE ANY MORE.
Over a month later the beater head was returned from Godfreys repair service, saying "No fault found". So the whole machine was sent away. I WAS WITHOUT A VACUUM CLEANER FOR OVER 2 MONTHS AND WAS OBLIGED TO BUY ANOTHER FROM A NON-GODFREYS STORE.
5. After complaining loudly I was offered a store credit for the full amount I had paid - but I did NOT want to deal with Godfreys again, so after more complaining, I eventually got a cash refund.

SO THINK TWICE BEFORE BUYING ANYTHING FROM ANY GODFERYS STORE. IF IT GOES WRONG WHILE UNDER WARRANTY YOU MAY WAIT WEEKS BEFORE THE REPAIR CENTRE ATTENDS TO IT.

Ajmal is excellent in understanding customer satisfaction after having discussions about the problems we faced at the end he fully cooperatid and resolved the issue thanks to him very happy with his service.

I was able to purchase a good vacuum cleaner from Godfrey's at a good price

Poor customer service and providing false information just because they don't want to serve anyone returning or exchanging iteam.couple of days back I went to the store to exchange or refund for a faulty accessory I bought with vacuum cleaner from Osborne Park. The owner said I can't help you because it's from other store and u might have to go back.when I said that the lady from Osborne Park confirmed me that you can go to any store for exchange refunds, faults etc than the owner was like " I don't know, I haven't done it before, I can try but it might take a week or more to get you any solution.bla bla.
Seriously I am not surprised many small business do bad and brings a bad name to the company for none of their fault specially with a franchise business.

Unfortunately a vacuum Id purchased had some issues. They immediately set to work to sort the problem out as quickly as possible, phoning the area manager and other Godfrey's stores in Perth.
They kept me in the loop the entire time and I was happily vacuuming away again in no time!

Blown away by the genuine old school service you rarely see these days. 5 stars

I was getting a lot of use out of my stick vacuum but recently whenever I put it on it would stop after a short while. I just assumed that it was the battery that was needing replacement so I took the battery out and went to Godfrey’s in Cannington to buy a new one. When I got there what appears to be a husband and wife team were asking me about how my machine stopped working and suggested to me that it could simply be a blocked filter. I hadn’t even thought about that, and wouldn’t expect a block filter to stop the machine altogether but they told me that the machine has an ability to stop working once the filter is blocked. So I thanked them and I went home and yes my machine was very clogged up indeed, and I went about unclogging it and it’s working beautifully. I thought to myself just how honest these people were and how rare in this day and age to come across such fantastic service. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for some honest advice on purchasing a vacuum cleaner or servicing the vacuum cleaner.

Even though they couldn't help me (my machine was way to old) I received great service and helpful information.

Had a great experience with the girls down here. And bought a top notch machine with a little deal sweetener on top ;)

Overall the buying experience for me was ok. Was given limited information about the product, however as I had researched earlier, I could still buy it without too much information from the staff.

Very friendly and professional staff, had a minor issue with my carpet shampooer and they were so helpful, they offered to have a look at it for me and returned the same day. Thank you for your wonderful service

Visited this store on a Sunday. Received the WORST ‘customer service’ ever from the old grumpy guy there. It’s almost as if it bothers him you’ve entered the store. God forbid you ask any questions. It seems he really doesn’t want to be there and hates his job (although I think this must be a family member doing the owner ‘favour’) Still I thought, just buy what you need and that’s it. Chose my product (no demonstrations offered) and went to pay. I was then told no credit card payments on specials? ! Only savings or Cheque options. Seriously? !
I left and went to the Canning Vale store where I received a smiley and friendly welcome, AND a demonstration! Bought my product and went on my merry way.
To the store owner, if you can’t afford the right staff on Sunday, might as well stay shut. This old guy doesn’t do your store any favours. Needless to say, I won’t be back and I’d rather travel a little bit away to a friendly, professional store.

Young salesman was champ. Excellent knowledge and very helpful. More than happy to recommend to others.
