I called to inquire about legal advise for an upcoming court date GTC lawyers agreed to arrange a lawyer to speak with. They then charged $395 out of my account and I was told a lawyer would contact me. After two days a lawyer called only to say unfortunately she won’t be able to take the case on and that she would email GTC lawyers to send a refund. After several calls, emails and false promises no refund was made. GTC lawyers have basically charged me $395 to say we can’t take your case. I highly advise anyone with legal issues to look elsewhere for a lawyer.

I clearly never posted the initial review and am more than a bit offended that people who take an oath to uphold and serve the law are not held accountable for deliberately misleading people via social media.

Who are the owners of this law firm and what do they have to say for themselves?

Very disappointed, lack of knowledge and informations, 300 $ for a consultation that lasted 15 minutes, i sat at the table and from that moment i felt rushed to finish, the lawyer was not prepared at all, he basically didn't answer half of my questions, (civil matter)
He just wanted to get his money,
What kind of degree have these guys got?
Don't go with them if your case it's under 10.000$ and don't ask for a consultation

Paid just under $300 for a phone appointment, The lawyer said he would email details and information we were counting on, as we were overseas at the time and needed to lodge a response to the magistrate court in 5 days.
We received nothing, even after requesting it a second time. Very disappointed

Useless. Applied my application 4weeks late then 3days before court started asking for paper work. Money grubbing bastards.

My lawyer gave me some great advice. Hopefully I can come up with the funds to be able to Lodge a claim, I didn't realise it was so expensive to lodge at the family law court

Very positive. I was really impressed by how the different jurisdictions were explained to me. One was a Civil matter and the other, the Family Court.
Until the explanation I was confused and that is what was causing me distress.
I am relieved to understand the difference and that is because it was explained to me in a way that I could understand.
Well Worth the time and money for that peace of mind.
