Go Fish & Chips

Yum, battered fish only, mushy pea optional just like in North East England salt and vinegar for chips. Very generous servings, will revisit before we leave town. Even had black and white chairs, possibly Newcastle supporters.

We have ordered 3 fish and chips, another 3 fish in addition and then a sea food basket…. All the chips were packed together and all the fish was packed together. The food quantity and service were very poor. Totally dissatisfied.

Remarkably copacetic! Was just passing through and it was such a gratifying experience. Would never expect such quality food out here. Beautiful staff and one of them sings like a saint.

If I lived around here, this would be my go-to spot.

We were pleasantly surprised by how aesthetically pleasing the place was to our eyes, and the food to our stomachs! It’s a win from us, we were just passing through but would definitely go back!

Just had the most exceptional Fish Burger ever! The salad very fresh and crunchy. It was filled with a leafy mix of salad including beetroot and tomato for that nice bit of acidity. There was a perfect amount of? Homemade tartare that was nice and tangy. The fish, generous and coated in a nice crisp batter. Waiting area just a bit cold, but it is the middle of winter and the cook probably overheating in the kitchen as they were very busy. Will be back for sure!

Got a meal for 4 last night. Took an hour to prepare and was only enough to feed a mouse. I understand there is a chip shortage but you can't charge for a portion and put in 10 chips

Had the most delicious serve of fish and chips here at go fish and chips tonight golden crispy well cooked chips and thick fish fillet that was so well cooked hats of to you great feed.

I ordered 2 x serves of fish and chips, the portion sizes were huge. The fish was delicious and the chips crispy.
The service on the phone and in the shop was something you don't see much of anymore. I will definitely be back. I also bought their homemade cherry ice-cream and it was best ice cream I have ever had. It was packed full of cherries and creamy.

It looked a bit sad - like a place very much in decline/and suffering. The fish and chips were enjoyed though - good enough to make one wonder why it wasn't booming.

Got the fish of the day (Perch) with our order of chips. Extremely happy with the service, and portion size

Food was good unfortunately they don't listen to what was actually ordered and we paid extra for their mistake.

Horrible, completely mucked up the order, fish and chips was greasy, worst I have tried, never again.

The worst fish and chips we have ever tried, not sure what sort of fish they used to cook for our family: it was dry and sour, kids refused to eat it from the first bite. All went to the rubbish bin. Never will buy at this place again.

Paid for 2 seafood baskets to get home only 25k to find no chips. Paid $50 for a meal to only have half a meal

The chips were barely even warmed up let alone cooked. The fish was sort of ok I guess. We threw most of the food out as no one could eat it.

Food is always fresh and delicious! The owner is also lovely and makes you feel welcome. Highly recommended!

Best fish n chips I've ever had in Aus! This includes the apparently famous overpriced ocean n paddock in Albany! Not only is it much cheaper here bit chips, fish n everything r passageways better than anywhere plus very friendly service! We came back every night 4 it n even twice in 2 night

This is great value for money. They also have a few different kinds of fish most of the time.
