Gnoorea Point Campground

I love that 40 Mile Camp is free for travellers out of peak season. We were grateful for the cool sea breeze it kept the 38° day pleasant.
We only stayed overnight but could have happily stayed the allowed 72hrs. Dump points & waste bins

We liked it here. Water goes out so you can explore around the rocks. Plenty of room for vans. No midgies

Very busy but was school holidays. Caretaker excellent. Gave us overnight spot then moved us to one overlooking ocean. Lovely view. Coastline rocky. Rubbish bins and dump points for porta potties. No toilets. Drinking water available at Gas plant on right on way in. Various camping spots along coast as well as main area. Beautiful sunsets.

Enjoyable stay, very windy, but that keeps it cooler and deters the flies (a lot of flying insects)

Great place to camp. We only stayed one night. This time of the year to warm. Got eaten by midgeds.

A great place to spend a few days doing very little. The road in was recently graded and the camp areas fairly large. A place to relax. Can drive down onto beach or go for some good walks. If I was a fisherperson I would have given it 5 stars.

Toilet and 3 dump points all in the same site. Great spot good risk fishing and 4 wd tracks great pic oops.

Beautiful views and quiet spot. Take loo paper to drop toilet! Amazing sunrise, few mozzie but all in all very pleasant.

We had a quick overnight stop in the off season. Good spot, good views. Had a toilet near the boat ramp but otherwise you need to take the Porta-Potti. A few sandflies but not in plague proportions like some other areas along this coast. Thumbs up to Karratha council.

First time visiting this area. Attended a friends wedding here, lovely location, well maintained.

Beautiful camp spot 10km off the main highway. Great sunset and sunrise. Nice spot to watch the stars. Good fishing as well. Basic toilet, no water, no power. Caretaker is really nice. Enjoy this adventurous and lonely inexpensive place.

Great place to relax by the ocean. Big sites with dump point close by. Also the Gas company allow plenty of fresh water for a gold coin donation.

What a beautiful place to stop and rest. Good fishing spot and a good amount of bait. Displays beautiful scenery both sides, one being mountains and the other the ocean. Nice flat camping areas and also toilets available. Just up the road a couple of KMs is access to water. Love this place.
