Glen Street Practice

Dr Moss has been our family doctor for 8 years (since I was pregnant). He's seen each of us through various health issues and it's great to have a relationship with a doctor who cares about each of your family. Now that he knows us we'll he can be a bit irreverent, which I enjoy, shares some comforting and/or amusing anecdotes but keeps it professional. He's gone over and above more than once. I've seen other doctors at the practice if he's not available and they are lovely too, but I haven't established a relationship with them.

I have been attending this Practice for a number of years and have found the service and professionalism to be excellent. Both Doctors I have seen are knowledgeable and empathetic.

I have been going to the practice for about 20 years. Karen Moller and Simon Moss have been my usual doctors - excellent, professional, thorough and caring.

Dr Moss is absolutely wonderful. I have had an extremely terrible experience with specialists and based on Dr Moss' history with us I have decided to rely on him specifically rather than attending on specialists time and time again. Dr Moss is remarkably professional, medically competent and even more remarkably supportive. His application of medical expertise is outstanding. Whilst costly as a private practice, it is more than well worth the money.

I've been attending this practice for 5.5 years and have never had a complaint. Winderful and thorough staff.

Been going to see Dr Jo Taylor here for around 5 years. I always find the staff and Dr Taylor professional and personable. Highly recommend. For those who say they run late - it's because they care and give as much time to each patient as they can. Usually a phone call beforehand will tell if they are running behind schedule.

Glen St practice has been looking after my health for about 20 years now. All of the doctors that I have seen there have been highly competent, very professional and always friendly, sympathetic and helpful.

I can hardly believe some of the comments but I guess you take as you find. For my part I've been seeing Dr Simon Moss for ten years. I was sent by my company for a medical and I have been so satisfied that I have no intention of switching even though it's now an hour's drive for me to come in.

Usually I can have a laugh over any issues and I enjoy the humour. However, when I went through something very upsetting he was extremely professional as a laugh wasn't required or wanted. Even now as some issues in my working environment are causing me problems he has been extremely helpful.

Though I am very satisfied the bottom line is that even if he didn't have a good attitude I would still see him because I pay for his knowledge and advice; the rest is a bonus.

Simon is the Dr I ask for each time, and I feel he always looks after my best interests and gives me the best advice (which I don't always want to hear!). He is very professional, and has gone over and above what I would have expected to help me or guide me.

It is a busy practice, and the reception sometimes shows that but I have never experienced anything other than professional customer service.

Very good practice, competent GPs but their online booking system is unreliable. I booked 4 weeks in advance to make sure I'll see a particular GP and found out a day before it won't be the GP i had chosen. Quite disappointing with the staff on the phone who didn't even see this as a problem.

I have to agree with the tone of some of the comments here - doctors there are certainly competent enough but one of the clerical staff is absolutely shocking, rude and unprofessional.

We live in a time when there's a critical shortage of GPs. After 12 years of coming to this practice, I've decided to take my custom somewhere else - I may regret it but the incident with this rude clerical staff member went well beyond the pale. It always takes one rotten apple and this lady was it.

We changed doctors a while back because we had become dissatisfied with Glen Street, we have avoided Simon over the years after a couple of appointments found him to be rude and arrogant. The other Doctors there used to be absolutely fantastic. We had been using them for almost 20 years and are now certain we won't be going back.

The past 3 or 4 times we have been has felt disappointing and uncaring. They have stopped bulk billing, the doctors run very late (my time is valuable too). Today we had to wait nearly half an hour to be seen by Michelle who didn't really help at all other than to say - see your dentist.

I asked if she would bulk bill and she said 'You've been here before? ' as if we should know better than to ask. We ended up paying over $70 for a 5 minute consult and will only get half back. Total waste of time. They shouldn't charge if they can't help you. Or they should at least bulk bill for uneventful appointments.

The admin staff are lovely, however when I think of the doctors approach at Glen Street the phrase 'can't be bothered but give me your cash' springs to mind.
