Glen Forrest IGA reviews
22Always go here always a pleasure to be served by Jordan and always have good milk and bread
Luckily for yous I can't be bothered driving back to complain that you had milk a day off on the shelf. Get it together
While it is a tad expensive, this store is almost almost well stocked and welcoming. The range of meats and milks is also very good.
Find it weird it’s got such high ratings, I’m a local and this IGA is nothing special at all. Foods not fresh. All freezers don’t even have any lights on, it just feels dingy. It’s a shame cause it could be thriving place because we don’t have anything else that’s close. I only go here if I literally HAVE to for milk.
EVERYONE LISTEN TO WHAT I HAVE TO SAY!
This isn't just an IGA ok. This place is a power house that keeps the community functioning!
This isn't Sparta. No no, this is better, this is the TOP SHOPS! There is the bottom shops too, they have better take away though. However if your looking to take over the world or generally buy groceries, then Glen Forrest IGA is the place for you.
Good butcher next door to. Check him out whilst you're there.
Not as defendable from zombies as the bottom shops, however still gets a score of 9/11.
This is a really nice IGA that I have used for many years! Family owned! Tony and all his staff members provide kind helpful friendly service great fresh fruit and vegetables and much more for our local Glen forrest Community! Sanitiser available at entry! I highly recommend this Super market well done Tony and family i will always be back ️
Always support local and they support their locals too. Fresh fruit and veg with and noticed variety creeping in.
Great spot for last minute out of normal trading hour times grocery items or open everyday for everything else including bog rolls
These guys are friendly, have everything you missed last week shopping and are open late keep up the good work.
Small place, lovely people, go to the IGA for a Danish, the pharmacy for a gift and the butcher for something that'll make you a star at the barbecue
Friendly staff always happy to help, large variety of fruits, vegetables and cheeses. Great specials on confectionery, open 8am - 8pm everyday except Christmas day, busiest around 4pm after school pickups.
Have been shopping here for 2 years. "Fresh produce" is often old/soggy/mouldy. Often times products we buy (meat, milk, chicken) is actually being sold past its use by date, or on the day of. Shopping here is ok in a pinch, or an emergency, but i have been nothing but consistently disappointed by mouldy and out of date food.
Doesn't open until much later than the previous owners. Also found out of sell by date items in store. Young staff not very customer friendly. Training required.
Not much gluten / dairy free range. Not much of anything really in there. Il stick to Wembley IGA.
Dr Mark Daykin has treated us with courtesy, understanding and awesome knowledge and professionalism. All the staff are totally dedicated.
Look at the sell by dates very carefully. We have often found that food is out of date not just by a day or two but several days and in some instances several weeks out of date. Prices for items are often misleading. Most of the staff have no customer service training and don't say thankyou for your custom. They are usually miserable and don't smile. Maybe their wages are exceptionally low. This is the worst IGA we have shopped at. We only go there out of desperation.
It has an IGA, a pharmacy, some food stores, a chinese resteraunt, and on the other side of the road is a bakery, a servo, and some more shops (as of 2018). The IGA and servo are always open when I go there. The servo often has cheaper fuel prices then some other places. The shopping area used to have a playground next to it, but this got cemented over - I wish they had a small safe playground nearby. The Train Park and oval is just down the road; a great area for a picnic and kids to play. This shopping centre is badically the hub of Glen Forrest, and the closest shopping centre for many in the hills. The customer service I've had here had usually always been very good.
Good local IGA. Mid sized with a good range of groceries and produce. Friendly and helpful staff. Today I went in for a newspaper and came out with some New Norcia Sourdough bread, tasty cheese, tomatoes and double smoked ham. Feeling pretty happy right now.
Good range of packaged organic and health & gluten free products. Friendly, efficient staff:)
