Girrawheen SUPA IGA

This used to be a great IGA that had a lot of various grocery items and opened 8-8 daily.
Now it’s a glorified seconds store that is no different in price to the Woolworths and Coles. So disappointing

Been in a couple of times and service was good, however went in today and when I got to the counter the young girls were sniggering about another customer, they tried to say they were not but it was obvious, even to the elderly gentleman behind this poor woman that they were as two of them kept looking at the woman whilst sniggering and when the woman called them out on their behaviour, one of them even tried to hide by the till to avoid having to respond. I think that's really disgusting ay! To those girls I say other people are non of your business, grow up and do Ur job properly, your childish and spiteful behaviour has certainly put me off going in here again. I genuinely couldn't believe that people actually act like this especially when working! Very unprofessional!

Hit and miss. Deli staff personable, sticking good orifices inc some European items.but othereise tired and sad inside. Meat section terrifying. Avoid online shopping as they deliver just 50% of what you order

This used to be a very good IGA with a lot of variety of products, however they seem to be scaling back what they sell. It's not surprising that they end up cutting back on things and have staff that don't really care when you consider some of the people that enter the store. Blatant shoplifting and abusive people that shop here just grind down even the happiest of humans. It's a shame that the trash that walk in and out cannot respect themselves let alone others otherwise this would still be a great place to shop. I feel sorry for the staff who have to deal with such bottom dwellers.

The staff are friendly and there is always enough staff at the checkouts. The fruit and veggies were reasonably priced with great specials. Tomorrow is Mother's Day, huge choices of flowers to choose from.

They have most grocery items in stock and have friendly staff and 8am to 8pm opening hours are great

Great if you want to get rolled by drug affected imports while the security guard runs away in the opposite direction.

Untrained staff, rude attitude to customers. We didn't come to ask for money, they returned change and threw it at us like beggars.it was a bad experience, it made my morning so bad!

The young lady who served me this morning was very polite, friendly and I hope she had a good day at work, it was a pleasure being served by her.

Needs to lower some prices as it's very expensive compared to other stores (including other iga's) but good clean layout with a good selection

In general this iga is pretty good, prices are good and staff have improved a lot in terms of customer service. I do have a complaint though. Last night I bought one of your rotisserie chickens that you cook in store and have hot near the little fridge with the sandwiches and pies and all that. When I got home to use it for our dinner, it was EXTREMELY undercooked, to the point I would call whoever cooked these: VERY lazy. I know the effort that goes into cooking a chicken, you test the temperature, you make sure it’s COOKED. You can literally kill someone with food poisoning from that. You need to have proper quality control with the way these chickens are cooked. I’ve notice other people have complained about this issue too, and if it doesn’t get fixed then honestly that’s absolutely disgraceful and it’s something I would complain to consumer affairs about if not improved upon. It’s not worth risking someone’s life because you’re too lazy to cook chicken properly.
On a more positive note, you have some young workers who are absolutely amazing and I love being served by them, I need to find out their names. One of them is a young blonde girl who usually has her hair in a ponytail, another young girl with short curly hair and seems to have some colour in it, and then a young Indian woman who wears glasses. These 3 ladies frequently serve at the tills and go above and beyond, I always love when I’m served by them. I appreciate all they do! Thank you.

Good range of fruit and veg incredible deli and great range of fresh meats. Very good prices. Regularly shop here

A 9kg bag of cat litter split and went all over checkout and floor. They couldn't have been more helpful. Then when loading my shopping another IGA employee offered to return my trolley. Very impressed!

Local and convenient. Good range of products. They have a Senior's discount day, Tuesday I think.

Clean, tidy little store, I only shop at IGA for there great specials an there fresh cold meat BUT today what a disappointment with the cold meat at the deli counter, ask for the ham on special an the young girl slices up the end knob of the ham an expect me to have the scraps instead of nice slices, IGA Respect your customers, you may not like wastage but please DONT expect your customers to purchase the rubbishey end scraps to feed our family.disgusting was the word i used to the young girl.not here fault i know, just doing as she is told by here manager.so didnt purchase any cold meat.

I bought a whole watermelon on Monday, took it home and it was rotten inside, pinklady apples didn’t even last two days and went rotten when cut open there fruit and veg quality is just not there out of date groceries and coke going out of date

Very disappointed, still waiting on the Duty manager Scott to make contact after an incident that occurred in the store a week a go, with a rude, arrogant check out operator, a letter was sent, called and left a message and also spoke with the front service duty manager, still no response from the store what type of culture is been accepted there?

Just been instore for the first time in ages and shocked at how great it is now! Its like a new store. Well presented, full shelves and some fantastic specials. Definitely be coming back more often.

Came in two days a go and one of the staff members where really rude when asked a question. Also bought some sliced ham and it smelled off came back and told the deli staff and was told the was nothing wrong with the ham, it’s freshly cut not good Iga!

Great place to shop after a gym workout, staff pretty friendly, but prices of fruit sometime pricey. The deli is well stocked and sometimes they have specials on cheese and ham.
