Gill St Café reviews
38Great food and good coffee. However, we had to wait quite awhile for our food. It was worth the wait though as the food was amazing.
I had one of the best scrambled eggs on toast I ever had, IDK hiw they did but was really tasty, also my partner had a green omelette which was also delicious, the place is beautiful and have a peculiar decoration and last but not least the staff were super friendly and helpful. We totally recommend the Gill street cafe
The goodness bowl is amazing, the portions were huge and all ingredients were high quality. Such a lovely place, and nice staff!
Pretty disappointing, gorgeous setting but staff seem under-trained, the meals arrived one by one, before our coffees. Only 3 of us at the table and yet 2 were finished our meals before the others coffee and food arrived. The buda bowl was inedible, the flavour combinations need a rethink. The fritters were not good, imbalanced flavours. Won't be back any time soon, will wait for a change.
Very friendly staff but wait times for take away was long and the food and coffee was incredibly average.
We just had breakfast at this nice café, my son and I had The Big Fry and my husband the pancakes. Every single element on the plate was cooked beautifully and worked well together. The coffees were also really nice and hot. Hats off to the chef, for a well thought and put together menu! Simple but done well! If you're in the area, you have to try it out, you won't be disappointed
Nice spot to have a breakfast, the atmosphere is good but quite busy. Food is ok, nothing special.
The soup of the week was devine. Staff were friendly and efficient. Only thing it was not obvious that you order at the counter. In very small writing at the bottom of the menu it said to order at the counter but as I chose my meal before reading it I skipped to looking for the waiter.
Good little local spot with good food and coffee options. Not very pram friendly but the staff are always friendly and helpful.
One of the best cafes in Mosman park!
Friendly service and lovely food in a characteristic 'corner shop' setting that takes you for a walk down 'memory lane'. (when there were cute suburban shops and corner delis).
And a warm vibe from the local Mosmans!
We'll definitely be back.
Ordered peanut butter on sourdough. Two pieces with peanut butter on one piece only. Because that's what people want when they order peanut butter in toast. Butter on one piece and a piece of dry bread. Well done. One star.
What a delightful cafe!
I’m new to the area and so very happy with my find of this cafe.
I ordered a coffee and their special of the day the Gill Street Buddha Bowl, both orders were simply exquisite
The staff were very friendly as well.
10/10 recommend!
Good little cafe on corner. Food is fresh and front fridge food changes daily and always looks good. Good coffee
Lovely local cafe with amazing muffins and great coffee. Indoor spaces are good but outdoor is the best. Great place for working too with decent WiFi
Had a lovely Salmon patty and said plus coffee with a friend. Delicious. Nice ambience. Heaters on the outside deck.
First time I've visited this cafe. I found the coffee very nice & the staff welcoming. The cakes looked nice.
Haven't been in a while & so disappointed.
Normally generous servings very tasty etc
My guess its changed hands. Such a shame
Little gem of a cafe - fresh food and great coffee.
Service isn't as great as it used to be. They make mistakes but at least they are polite enough and flexible. It's still up there with Perth's best casual-relaxed cafes.
One of the best cafes in Mosman park. Modern service and lovely food in a characteristic 'corner shop' setting down memory lane.
And a Friendly vibe! We'll definitely be back.
