George Street Cafe & Patisserie reviews
57My friends and i are from Melbourne and everyone knows how good Melbourne cafes are but this is probably the best cafe i have ever been to. The staff were so amazing and so kind and really made us feel welcome, the food was absolutely delicious and at an amazing price too next time i come to perth i will definitely be coming back. Thank you so much to staff you guys are amazing!
OMG. Sour cherry brûlée tart. To die for. Fresh baguette with ham. All about the soft centre & crispy crust. It’s giving Melbourne quality all the way.
Great food, love the smokedsalmon benedict, they precut the toast for me because i had a hand injury.big love right here.
Always lovely staff and good food, the coffee is great and the whole vibes of the place is very chill.
Great coffee, excellent original home style yet very professional food. Wonderful neighbourhood eatery which we travel 20 minutes to visit
Highly recommended. Great coffee and food. Friendly and efficient service. I had bacon Benedict. Lovely fresh hollandaise sauce, with fresh bread and nice thick, well cooked bacon. Relaxed atmosphere. Will definitely go back soon!
This place is great! I almost don't want to leave a great review as it's hard to get a table on the weekends as it is but the delicious, well priced food and coffee is definitely worth a mention.
Theres a great selection of cakes, tarts and pastries that look amazing too.
Wonderful little gem of a cafe. Outstanding food, coffee and so friendly. Great relaxing atmosphere and very good value. We’ll be back
Beautiful coffee, customer service and fantastic food here. French chef is making lovely brekkie here️ definitely will be back again.
Yum yum and yummmmmm!
The mille feuille pastries are to die for with the crispy, flaky pastry and the creamy custard. My parents buy themselves one each weekly to treat themselves, and today, I was treated to these pretty special pastries.
I just love them, and they make a great coffee also. So Do yourself a favour and partner it up with a delicious latte. For me, it's an oat milk latte and sweet.
Coffee and a pastry, what could be better? Bring your own cup to fill if you like instead of a paper coffee cup that's not recyclable. Be kind to the environment.
Oh, I wish I had taken photos of the pastry, but I was a bit keen to tuck in, and I forgot to.
Check them out. You shouldn't be disappointed!
I love this hidden little gem, great food, fantastic service, I love the full English breakfast, I definitely recommend, and is lots of pastries for the sweet tooths️,
Great place for coffee, pastries and staple foods. Coffee and food is of great quality at a reasonable price. Service is super friendly also. Will be back!
Delicious.highly recommend the coffee, hot chocolate, onion and goats cheese tart, lemon meringue tart and toasted sandwiches! Lots more which I haven't yet tried. YUM!
Cannot fault this place. The food and coffee is just so good. I had eggs bene with mushrooms - divine. Ordered a second coffee and then pastries to go - please try the orange and almond cake and the lemon tart.
If you haven’t already tried this pleasant little place, do yourself a favour and go there! Guaranteed you’ll be as impressed as we were. Highly recommend.
Great service, delish coffee (really quick too on a sat morn), awesome range of food and all made fresh in store. Will be back for sure!
Amongst the best coffee you can get. Have been going here for many years and the quality is consistently top notch. Hoopla is pretty good too but has a bit of an odd 'fermented' flavor. The pastries here are on a higher plane over the usual bakery offerings. The diameter of tarts has decreased lately! - but I suppose that's due to cost pressures. I have a colleague who constantly purchases their ham and egg toasties and he swears by them.
I absolutely loved this place! Went there for the first time last week & tarts were great 100% enjoyed them. Nice & cosy cafe, highly recommend!
Ordered one of the eggs benedict options - advocado and roasted tomato, swapped out the bread for a croissant, really tasty and quick service.
