Geordie's Cafe & Art Gallery reviews
52Visited Geordies Cafe & Art Gallery on Rotto and loved the charming ambiance and delicious food The staff were super friendly. A must-visit spot for anyone exploring the island!
Went to Geordie’s for dinner. Food was delicious! We had the chicken parmi and pork ribs and could not fault the meals.
This is for one adult proper meal.
29 dollars.
Lunch.
So one star is all I can give.
Always fabulous! Breakfast, lunch and dinner. So grateful for their support of my digital nomad life.
Two years after my last visit and review, I am pleased to say that standards have been maintained and they still serve amazing fish in their fish & chips meal.
The batter is light, crispy and tasty, while the hake fish is soft and flaky.
If not for the distance from home, this would definitely be my first choice for fish & chips every time!
Beautiful food, well seasoned and tasted lovely.
Carrot cake! Out of this world! Moist and extremely flavoursome.
Highly recommend this jewel of a Cafe!
Geordie Bay Cafe you have amazed me again. I had the pumpkin and feta salad on Sunday. The combination of ingredients worked perfectly together and the salad dressing was stunning. The muffins we had were just a perfect combination of flavours and cooked to perfection, best muffins I have ever had.
Beautiful friendly and welcoming staff at this local cafe in a gorgeous part of Rottie. Lovely options for lunch and coffee/cakes etc. Really great coffee too.
Not far to walk from settlement area or catch the bus.
Nice to move away from the more populated settlement area too.
We had lunch here today and it was simply spectacular! The best food and the best fresh juices we have had in a long while. Absolutely 5 star. The service was excellent and the atmosphere on a winters afternoon was delightful. We could not ask for better or more. We highly recommend this establishment to everyone. It's a must try to anyone coming to Rottnest Island. Thanks for adding a great experience to our winter holiday:)
Nice if your in the 'bay. One of our party had to take'll wait until nearly everyone had eaten before they got their food ; (
Excellent place. Small and cute. Service is excellent and food is fantastic.
We have been here many times and it’s always good. It’s also nice to support a small business owner in an island with massive companies managing all other places.
Today we ordered fish&chips and a smashed burger and it was yummy:)

Great little cafe, and BEST coffee on Rottnest Island. Highly recommend the trip to Geordie Bay.
OK food and service was reasonable but the staff were very busy and coped but mo clean knives when I needed them!
Coffee tasted like warm milk, paid $26 for 4 small takeaway coffee's won't go back
What a great place for lunch! One of the best veggie burgers I’ve ever had and the kids loved their meals too. Relaxed, shady outdoor area with a shaded park for kids to play. Would definitely recommend!
Food taste just okay but pricey. Not many dining choices around the island though. You are able to see quokka wandering around the cafe.
We had the misfortune of having brekky here in August. The avo smash with poached eggs was a meagre, gray portion consisting of weak brown toast, avo smashed yesterday which was brown, and "poached" eggs obviously cooked on the grill in egg rings. Unfortunately, it was $25 and slow - even with almost no one in the cafe. The 1 star is for a adequate juice and the friendly staff. Probably best to buy eggs, avo and toast from the grocery store next door and cook it yourself - at least it will be made with love instead of the contemp with which Geordie's delivers.
Very nice Bonoffee Pie although just a slither and good coffee.
Good service and nice setting with outdoor seating
