55Breakfast wide Nutella waffle + Long wide coffee very generous in portions small negative point the maple syrup on the waffle otherwise perfect quick service. Total $20 for a large long black coffee and a large waffle.
2024: Crowded. Long queue. 50c takeaway surcharge. Tables just outside are considered takeaway. Half-price waffle on Tuesdays, no discount on ice cream. Opens late. 4 out of 5 stars.
2021: Nice location. Good service. Serves good waffle with icecream. 5 out of 5 stars.
Great waffles. Always crispy and fresh. Love their ice cream as well. This shop never dissapoints!
Very good place to chill out and enjoy your coffee. Kids also love waffles and ice cream. Very friendly staff and great service.

Consistently the best waffles I've had. They're crispy at this Gelare (as opposed to some others) and the service is flawless. Good, strong coffee too. There's not much seating to go around, so be patient and get here early on Tuesday evenings!
Food is nice, great location. Have been going to this place for years, never had problems.
But had a very bad experience with staff today. Poor communication skills and rude behaviour. Complete lack of common sense from the staff.
The wait took over an hour and a half just for 5 drinks, then we waited a further 1 hour for the waffles, not a good experience and will not be returning
Ice cream - small serves, average quality (more sugar than flavour), part melted.
So not good enough for the top price.
I’ll get a Magnum from the servo next time.
Worst customer service refused to take my order because he was the only one working on public holliday and wait 20 minutes for him to take my order…
Waiter was very rude whilst I was trying to sort out 4 children and the flavours they wanted and actually rolled his eyes and walked away mid order
Love the waffles with ice cream and fresh fruits toppings. Staff are very friendly and serve to your table.
They can get really busy at times. Should have a Queue or buzzer system for self collection to ease the staff workload so they also have more time to clean tables.
The waffles and ice cream as well as the pancakes were absolutely amazing, the coffee tasted perfectly roasted and delicious. Highly recommend to anyone in Perth!
It was ok, croffle was light, unlike other places we ate before;
Service was so-so; not too sure what exactly was the challenge but they kinda tried;
In the end, we kinda manage to get what we wanted, I think.
Maybe have to try another Gelare store in Perth to compare services.
Ordered a small waffle with ice cream on a Monday night. We waited for our order for nearly 50 minutes. Went up and asked how much longer our order is gonna take. They asked what’s our table number and said “we don’t have your table number here” and left it at that, and I had to follow it up again saying “he definitely took our order” then looked around and saw the slip had fallen off. I understand mistakes happen but a simple “sorry” would’ve been nice.
Always a great place to go when everything else is shut or just like to have some tasty ice cream, pancakes, milkshake or coffee.
Great vibe and decent desserts. We had the cookie butter ice cream waffle at $9 which was reasonable. The vanilla ice cream was okay, the waffle was crispy and good not too bad. Simple dish after all, it's hard to get wrong with cookie butter i'd say. Next time? Maybe if I crave for cookie butter waffle because the price value is better than those based in northbridge.
Had to wait forever for the waffles, and the cappuccino ice cream I had was off and thus inedible. Upon telling the staff they shrugged and no customer service was given whatsoever… Very disappointing for such an expensive and famous place!
Supposed to be dine in sat in the inside seats just outside the door poor customer service and gave us take away coffees and food in a takeaway container when asked for dine in would not recommend this place to anyone any other gelate is top notch five stars this place is jiat rude don't waste your time and go to the Beaufort or morley gelare instead.
Delightful venue with such pleasant service. Icecream, sorbet and dairyfree all delicious. 15 minutes seemed like a day out. Thankyou
The guy at front counter doesn’t know how to operate till, 20 minutes for a coffe and I was only one in the store
