Writing this for my partner who waited nearly 3 hours after her allocated appointment time (10.15am appointment) to finally at 1pm give in and leave, as she'd already taken 3.5 hours off work unpaid at this stage and needed to get back.
During this time she asked on three separate occasions what was happening, was the doctor running late, was there an issue only to be told your checked in and will be next. Clearly not.
When she approached and notified them of her need to leave at 1pm the young chap working clearly new they had stuffed up at that point and organised a next day telephone appointment.
The worst part was she had been in an accident a few days prior and was suffering whiplash so was clearly in pain and this was made worse by the wait she endured.
I will NOT criticize the GP's here they are excellent but the front end admin team clearly isn't.

I attended this Medical Centre to have a second opinion from Dr Philippa Warren. It was worth the wait for the consultation.
Dr Warren was very thorough, very professional and also very easy to talk to. I left the Centre very confident that my health issues had been addressed and felt much better already!
Also, I found the ladies at the reception very well organised, polite and very helpful. I am confident that I can get quality care here!

Mixed feelings and is extremely dependant on the Dr you see, therefore this review is in relation to the clinic/practice only. The clinic as a whole seems to have no management how individual doctors bill patients. Example ;

Was charged a $77 consult for a follow up phone call that the Dr initiated with me, that lasted less than one minute and there was no prior notification that the telephone call would incur a charge. When discussing with the clinic manager afterwards, her hands were tied and nothing she could do. Very misleading behaviour and disappointing.

On the other hand, there are a few female Doctors who have been at Garden City Medical Centre for years and felt like their care for patients goes above and beyond. If we could rate the Dr's separately then would do so.

Always able to get an appointment when needed. Wait times can be a fair wait but they always advise when you arrive.

Distinguished services. Organized reception. All those in charge of it, including staff, nurses and doctors, have all my thanks and appreciation. Especially Dr. Ali Zadah.

I wouldn't recommend this medical centre. There's no point in a booking system if no one has a clock or watch on them.

Worst medical centre in Perth, extremely unhelpful.
Had an appointment with Dr Nirmaljit Kaur, feel very disappointed that the Medicare rebate wasn't processed and they will NOT give repeat scripts forcing you to go back monthly so they can charge another $95.00 to get a new script. Ridiculous, they seem more interest in money than client’s health.

Terrible.
The 2ic practice manager Chandler (young woman) standing in arranged for me to see a GP when they were made aware this was a mva related claim. Due to paperwork problems with ICWA the Dr then refused to bulk bill (or wait for ICWA payment I already had a claim number) the consultation I was left arguing this out paying $85 from a bank account that had little more than that in it - it's now left me with no money to purchase the required medication.

Whilst the Dr was professional the way the practice is run nor is the way they fraudulently arranged the consultation I would give a negative Star review if I could.

Very very unhappy with yet another wholly and solely money grabbing practice.
So thanks for the refferal to the radiology and the pathologist but I won't be using them - completely wasted everyone's time.
If it had been any other business they are subjected to ACC laws for code of conduct it's about time the medical industry had similar obligations.

I did inform the practice of would be leaving a negative review here and on Facebook because of her actions - Chandler's response was that I was quite entitled to do that.

Typical response from a millennial!

I have since been contacted by the practice manager who repeatedly said that it's the doctors discretion if they bulk bill as an alternative to ICWA claims.

At the end of the conversation the practice manager I asked if it was a private billing practice.
Was told it's the doctors discretion.
For a third time I asked was it a private billing practice.then finally got told yes it was.

You have to ask three times to get a straight answer out of the practice. Seriously just answer the question!

Went in to get something for the crippling pain in my shoulder ive had for a week, walked out 2min later with nothing but instructions on how to take panadol and use voltaren (which is what ive been doing for a week now)
$80 later i am now in more pain and very frustrated.

Dr Kaur is a wonderful female GP, I have found her to be extremely thorough and personable. It is often hard to find a GP like Dr Kaur who listens and cares. Being a large practice with a nurse's station, it is also convenient to be able to have certain minor procedures done within the practice. The reception staff have always been very friendly and polite on my many calls/visits! Whilst it is a private billing practice, I believe it is well worth the cost for the treatment I have received.

Worst medical center in Perth. They never called me back for my telehealth appointmen. Don't book appointment with them!

Be careful, Dr Alizadeh does not bulk bill even 5min appointments for small kids - he only bulk bills legacy clients, if you’re new expect to pay full price.

$50 out if pocket to listen to a cough, say it’s a bit of asthma and leave me confused about the treatment he’s suggested. Will be more careful when booking that follow up he suggested, think I will ask for one of the other doctors or try elsewhere.

On the positive, their practice manager Bernadette is very thorough and seems to take feedback seriously.

I cannot speak more highly of Dr Chandra Jeyaseelan. She is very friendly and easy to talk to. Her examinations are thorough, often picking up things a different doctor has missed. She bulk bills for children too. Very happy to have her as our family GP and I only wish more GPs were like her.

I went to see Dr Alizadeh on a Saturday and he prescribed me a tablet.
The tablet had some side effects. So I called the medical centre and left messages for the doctor for 4 times on the following Monday and Tuesday. Dr Alizadeh never got back to me although the receptionist confirmed the last time I called that the doctor had read my message.
It is a pity, but I will never go back to that clinic again.

My partner was given a referral by Dr Alizadeh.to a specialist who had not been practising for more than two years! We rang to ask for another referral, which was completed promptly.to a pediatric specialist! Ridiculous, will not bother with this doctor again.

This has been my GP for decades. I've had good experiences with the availability of the doctors, appointments running on time (occasionally late), parking next to the clinic and compassionate medical care. There are doctors of both genders who are taking new patients. There is a pharmacy and pathology service next door.

Billing is private. Some doctors MIGHT bulk bill if patients discuss in person with the doctor (bill must be paid after appointment either way)

Reception staff are helpful and knowledgeable, if you explain your situation to them they will do their best to find a solution. Appointments can be booked online or by phone.
For urgent appointments call first thing in the morning, some doctors leave an open appointment for their regular patients.

I had an appointment with Dr Alizade this afternoon at 4: 30, I was the last patient. I was late and got there at 4: 35. Dr had left the centre. Unbelieveble. They had called me at 4: 20 to confirm the appointment and I hadn't answered due to driving and even I called them back in 5 min but it went on answering machine.and DR had gone home.so easily! I was too shocked and angry to say anything, but 2 secreteries were there, they didn't apologize at all and one of them just said its the second time that he has left the office without announcing the late patient and asked me about his behaviour in sobiaco centre.luckily it was my first experience and ofcource last time ever.
I never trust again to such a disrespectfull DOCTOR! NEVER EVER!
