Garden Cafe on Guildford

Garden Cafe consistently go above and beyond for their patrons. The staff are caring and thoughtful, coffee consistently delicious and food is always a high quality and great value for money. Their burger nights are our favourite cheat meal for the week. Thank you for looking after us Garden Cafe!

Food was great. Had Eggs Benny with pulled pork which was delicious. Coffee tasted great. Just lacked a little atmosphere was all. Has a takeaway window which I don't doubt is popular

This is a small, family run cafe. The staff and owners are friendly and care about their food. The coffee, juices and smoothies are great. And there is something on the menu for everyone.

And, it’s dog friendly - they have a lovely fully enclosed Alfresco area at the back where dogs are welcomed.

My girlfriend and I visit this place/ Uber eats on the regular. We fell in love with the cosy place and highly recommend the potato Rosti (my fav) and halloumi burger (girlfriend’s favourite) check this place out, you won’t be disappointed

Service and food were fair. A patron came into the outdoor area with her dog. The dog barked constantly. The owner was not able to control her dog.
This constant nouse ruined the morning for me and my friends, so much that we left early, as did other patrons.
The staff never addressed the barking dog with the owner.
Never going back again.

Had high expectations of this place; however was a little disappointed.

Only redeeming qualities really were friendly counter staff and amazing beetroot hot chocolate with almond milk.

Food took ages to come out despite the cafe being very quiet. My friend's food was lovely but my potato rosti dish was quite bland, even though it was a chef recommendation.

The plate was a pile of carrot, cabbage and lettuce, the rosti on top was small and not seasoned and the fact we waited so long, I just expected more.

Would have given a rating of 2 but because the beetroot hot chocolate was to die for, I gave this place a 3.

Also parking was a hassle. I am willing to go there again, for one last try.

You know when practically all the food items on the menu are made fresh from scratch, that it's bound to be good. And this place definitely does not disappoint! Can't recommend enough!

Everything was delicious and fresh. Ice Coffe was amazing the burgers the outside seating was nice and relaxing very beautiful place. My new favourite place. Thank you to all the stuff.

The Garden Cafe on Guildford is a cute small cafe on Guildford Road side, and there's extra dining under an Alfresco at the rear. The service is friendly and prompt. I had a coffee with LACTOSE FREE MILK and a brownie. Both were very good. They have magazines and newspapers to read and are very health conscious with the covid-19 virus.
Do yourself a favour and try them out. Parking on side street or rear parking.
Also BLT with or without chips is great value and delicious too.

Such a cool little cafe, plenty of greenery it's like a little hideaway just off Guildford road. Parking is a bit of a hassle being so close to a main road, but if you park a street or two down you get a lovely stroll to look at all the heritage style houses. Friendly service.

Have been going to these guys before and after new management. Have to say they always serve great food great coffee and care.
Through covid they kept us in home delivered heaven.thanks guys you rock!

I really like this little cafe, the food is always well made and delicious. The service is great and it's convenient to get to.

Wonderful little cafe, serving delicious food. Vegan options are available too. The outdoor garden area is lovely though it can become quite the hothouse on the warmest of days. Perhaps some fans or an evaporative cooler would make all the difference there.

Great coffee, food was excellent (VLT ordered, consumed and recommended) and despite it being their busiest time the service was quick.

This is one of our favourite informal eating places. We often go here for the Friday night burger night. The burgers are fabulous as are the chips. We generally order both although we know that we shouldn't but hey life's to be lived. The owners Tom and his wife Amy are such gentle and friendly people you'll be hooked from the moment you meet them. It is BYO so grab a bottle of your favourite and head down there for one of their burger nights. Unfortunately only on Friday nights.

Great place, it needs even MORE plants though! Don't get me wrong, the place is filled with them and it is such a lovely environment to be in. The coffee, food and customer service are good too.:)

Very prompt delivery and good food. I'm housebound on crutches and knocked over my longed for coffee after only one sip. They delivered a replacement at no extra cost. Lovely people.

The cafe is near my house and it looks interesting from the outside so I decided to give it a try. Ordered a bacon burger and iced matcha. The food turned out under average. Bacon was too dry and burnt. Iced matcha was almost tasteless. The food was a huge disappointment and on top of that was overpriced. I wouldnt come here again (for food). Sorry but I think this place is overrated and only deserves 2 star.

I had the beef burger today which was delicious. It was moist and while I was waiting the lovely waitress came and asked me twice which items I did and didn't want on the burger - she and the chef went above and beyond. The chips were 10/10 too, as was the mixed berry smoothie which was very cold and delicious. The owners and staff here clearly care and take pride in their café and its food. I highly recommend, it should have 5 stars not 4.6!

I've been here a few times in the past couple of months. Their food and service has been consistently great. I'd definitely recommend a visit to this cafe.
