GALLERY SUITES Airbnb FREMANTLE, EXCELLENT & AFFORDABLE.
From the outset I was very impressed with Richard's communication back and forth to my many queries prior to our stay. The 6 adults in our group were also impressed with the welcome we received and Richard's attention to detail in regard to our check-in and check-out.
The apartment we stayed in, is in a group of apartments and is located at 185 High Street Fremantle WA. It has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and 3 toilets, plus a large dining/kitchen area which makes for a very comfortable and relaxing stay. We were also offered an undercover car parking space, which we didn't require.
The apartment is ideally located in Fremantle. We were able to walk to nearby shops and restaurants as well as easy access to rail and bus transport.
All up, we were very impressed and would certainly recommend this Airbnb Apartment.

Lovely apartment but parking instructions complicated - no staff to assist.

I’m not usually one to write negative reviews but as a business owner I do appreciate constructive feedback so I’m writing this review to give the owner a chance to respond publicly if he chooses to fix these issues.

Overall we enjoyed our stay, the location is great in the centre of Fremantle and Richard, the manager, was very helpful and attentive.

However the apartment was lacking some basic essentials that in the age of Airbnb travelers like myself who stay in a lot of different places, come to expect. These being:

- a complete, functional kitchen. Overall it was undersupplied like the person who stocked it hasn’t actually cooked in it. There were no paper towels, a lot of basic cooking utensils were missing, a coffee machine but no coffee, no dishwashing liquid. We also had to purchase additional tea towels (one is not enough) and additional bin liners, and the knives were SO blunt you could barely use them. The cutlery draw says ‘not suitable for dishwasher’ which is completely ridiculous. No salt and pepper or basic things like cooking oil. The list goes on…
- Bathroom - there was shampoo but no conditioner. One towel per person for 7 days is not normal for traveling. Usually there is two. Beach towels is a must when in Perth! Travelers aren’t going to pack bulky items like that. The plug in the bathtub isn’t really a plug, more like a lid that kept coming up, which made life difficult trying to bathe our baby. We also had to call down twice for more toilet paper.
- Bedrooms - no fitted sheets! This is just weird. The sheets kept coming up during the night. Overall the beds and pillows were very very comfortable though and the air conditioning is excellent.
- Cleanliness - it was obvious the place hadn’t had a deep clean in awhile. The skirting boards looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in years. We also found someone’s hairbrush behind the curtain so whoever cleans the place is not very thorough.
- Lastly the pool lights were out on the edge of the pool, which being in this type of business, we know this is a safety violation.

Hopefully the owner chooses to fix some of these issues as we wouldn’t stay here again unless it was brought up to standard for the price charged. Positives are the comfy beds, air conditioning and the great location. A little more attention to detail and the place would be excellent.

Terrible stay this time around. After many years of working around there requirements - needing full payment a week before, no office on site, bad contact and no recognition of us as previous customers we were “evicted” at 10am after a 2am finish of a big show. Never again!

Nice spacious apartment, however poorly maintained.
Carpark is ridiculous to try and get a car in and out of and we only had a small SUV. If you have a large car - forget about parking it in there unless you're willing to attempt a 50 point turn to get in and out.
