Table service app didn't respond - still got charged; didn't receive food; no response when complaint lodged. Venue hot during summer (probably cold during winter). Much like their beer, overrated.

Food produced cheaply then top $ charged. Chips great but fish very average looked and tasted not great quality at all. Lobster roll tasted of mayo and not much else, lobster appeared to be lobster bits, not tail meat, in a very small stale roll with lots of mayo and lettuce. Expensive prices for average food. Beer and cider about what you would expect. Good coffee but small cups, no large cups or mugs. Icecream was delicious. There are similarly priced but better places to eat in Fremantle.

Probably the biggest pub I have been to and such a vast view of the harbour. I personally like the outdoor area. Lots of seating inside for a big crew. The fish and lamb tacos were very good and service was good. One of our orders got “lost” because we moved tables and once they were informed, no dramas and they cooked a new order.

Great venue but food is very average. Pizzas are a bit tasteless and the tofu was super oily. Fish was dry

Great stop for a beer before or after the Rottnest Island Ferry. Location is great and I am sure it's even better in the summer. Staff were great and very friendly. Beer was good and the pizza was fantastic. I've never had a prawn pizza before but it was incredible and probably had some of the most perfectly cooked prawns on it I've ever had. I am still riding the high of that pizza a week later.

If staff say “it’s just coming out now” while a mum is solo wrestling a toddler, it should be coming out now. What actually happened is that the order was forgotten and we waited around for food we had to throw in a takeaway container and leave with because all other food was finished. Fish tacos do not travel well and it was never eaten.

If an order has been forgotten, SAY it’s been forgotten so parents can leave with children if that is the priority!

Not a bad place to consume some beers and a feed while watching the boats come into the port. Dog friendly & family friendly with plenty of seating. It does get quite busy though on a decent day so best bet is to get there a little early to get a good seat!

Really enjoy the atmosphere at Gage Roads. It tends to be busy, but the food and views on a calm day are just perfect.

There's also a great area for the kids to play in within view of tables for parents.

An absolute West Coast must visit.
Great beers, excellent contemporary menu. The kingfish and oysters were superb.
The view, atmosphere and service are also equal to the location. And I went on a Tuesday.

This has to be my favourite brewery to date & will be hard to beat!
The location on the Fremantle dockside creates an exciting actioned vibe with plenty going on = a great atmosphere.
Food & beers are the best, photos don't do it justice!
Action on the water is cool to watch with small to meduim & big boats + huge tankers & container ships cruising straight past the doors, windows & outdoor seating.
Love coming back to this place time & time again.
Always walking away with some take home beers

Amazing location, really you could not ask for a better view than the water at the Port! The food is decent, fair to the prices. The beer is good, perhaps a tad expensive considering they brew it onsite, however overall Gauge Roads quickly became a favourite of mine in Fremantle.

Second visit here and still loving it! The brewery has the best views of the water and large open plan dining area with long tables to fit larger groups. The outdoor playground for younger kids and games machines for just about anyone is a sure winner. Ticks alot of boxes and did I mention the beers are great? We will be back!

Probably one of my favourite places in the world. Ever since it opened we have made regular pilgrimages.

Sat on the bench outside, overlooking the waters soaking up the sun with a cold "Hazy As" pale ale. Nibbling a few small plates of food.

Could life be any better?

Do yourself a favour and visit.

Great place for the kids to play while having a cold one and enjoying lunch by the swan while watching the big ships float by. The food was average. We ordered kids fish and chips and kids pineapple bacon pizza. The highlight on either dish were the crispy chips. I ordered the fish tacos. The fish was dry and the tortilla although an authentic corn needed to be heated to be truly enjoyable. All an all a great stop over for a drink and a kid play but I will be skipping the average meal in the future.

The food here is okay it’s not bad but it’s not amazing. They are very quick at bringing food out here. I have to say the big let down here is drinks. I understand that it is a beer brewery. I understand as the waitress staff said to me today you do understand it’s a 1500 people venue but if you were going to supply drinks so called cocktails and they are not cocktails.they are a syrup premix and they’re absolutely disgusting and you’re paying $16 for one $32 for two, and they are just revolting. Sugary yuk flavour whith instant heart burn. One mouth full. If they were $8 you might not complain. But honestly please it cost nothing to put one full time cocktail maker on board. For the amount of money you will make. Not allways do partners drink beer. So a real other drink would be amazing. Kids park awesome face painting awesome we will be back but if this change does not happen we won’t again and I honestly spent like $150 today at other venues i spend about $300. Oh one more fish taco no taste. And ribs should taste like American style ribs not indian the taste like last nights indian dinner.

Very average food, and not cheap. The venue looks amazing and its very cool. Also, a nice thing thar is kids friendly. However, overall felt like a tourist spot. Its great and convenient, but the food is expensive and average. We had pretty much a bit of everything the tacos, pizza, charcoal chicken, octopus, ribs, everyone though pretty much the same very standard.

PARKING, or lack of. 2nd time to GR, pizzas and drinking are great, staff are fabulous, But, four of meet for a late lunch at 130, so not the midday rush. We all had to park over 15 minutes walk away, and then after spending 15 mins trying to find a place. Great venue, but do not drive here.such a shame there is no where near enough parking. Next time i will be riding a bike, or scooter to get here.
