Furusato Japanese reviews
23As a massive foodie, trying every Japanese around Perth, Furasato has never disappointed, affordable dinner with takeaway ready only 15 minutes after ordering! Customer service is amazing and am very happy to support this small family business. Will continue to support our small businesses like Furasato
Tasty high quality reasonably priced. Owner is a nice guy. Everything you could ask for. Would definitely recommend:)
The food was fresh and tasted good. However, it seams to be empty all the time, even the counter is empty, you have to poke your head to see who is there.service is okay.
This is some of the best sushi in Perth… easily top 5 best sushi I’ve ever eaten in my life! Loads of vegan and vegetarian options and just so fresh and delicious.
Our favourite place to get yakisoba and reckon its top 3 in Perth. Quality of food and service has been consistent for the past 10 years.
First star goes to big open spaces which was one of the draw here. Away from the hustle and tight spaces in other Japanese outlets, this is one of my go to Japanese local family owned restaurant.
Secondly, our food came served in ceramics and not plastic bowls or plates. I don't like hot noodle soups served in plastic bowls. That's another star!
I ordered karage miso based ramen noodles. The crunch of the black wood ear fungus and bean sprouts complemented the flavour of the soup. The half egg was cooked to perfection, with the yolk gooey and egg whites soft but enough to hold its shape. My daughter kept dipping into my bowl and slurped the most of the miso soup up. The karage was lightly flavoured not overly salty and had a light thin crisp batter which I preferred over thick batters.
My girl ordered Spicy Chicken Udon. The soup was a not what she imagined it, she thought it was more a powdered chili flake added to a base soup. However, the Udon soup dishes all come with a balance of veggies and protein. Many outlets don't give veggies except spring onions. Next time, no chilli Udon for her.
I have to agree with everyone's comments before that the portion of food served is generous and value for money.
Not what I was expecting from the usual Japanese experience. Everything was really fresh, tasty and authentic with friendly customer service, will definitely come back!
Sushi was alright but apart from that the Katsu donburi and spicy udon noodles were not good. The katsu donburi didn’t taste like much other than salt, and the chicken wasn’t crunchy at all. The spicy udon noodles were very oily and all it tasted like was chilli flakes.
Dreadful dreadful unfriendly service I won’t be returning. Go to silver sushi instead. At least they are pleasant.
Lowest quality ever, sushi was not edible, rice was not fresh and taste old. Don’t waste your money.
Not learning my lesson the first time, I tried the teriyaki salmon again - terrible. Entirely over cooked, like rubber, thankful for decent miso to wash it down.
This hidden gem located on the 2nd level at Southland Boulevard Shopping Centre at Willetton. Love love love their sushi, always our go to place for a quick and yummy meals. Apart from their sushi, their karage chicken & teriyaki fish rice box are delicious as well. Apart from their taste, the portions are always generous and price are reasonable too. Highly recommended!
The food wasnt too bad but the cashier refused card as payment and forced me to go to a nearby atm and get some cash.did u want to avoid tax lol
The bento sets were really delicious; some of the best we've had in Perth. Servings were generous, and as a bonus, they had fancy bamboo chopsticks!
The 'ring the bell' sign has the cat-Mario bell on it, five stars. The food was also really good.
Have bee going here for years and is still nice but ever since the management changed the over all quality has dipped. The food often costs more than the menu suggests
Delicious Japanese cuisine, good variety in the menu and affordable. It is clean, attractive and the service is always good, especially from the owner. We will definitely keep coming here to satisfy our Japanese cravings!
This has become my new home! My partner has been a loyal member for 2 years and since I met him, we had our third date scoffing down sushi together and now we go once to twice a week! Highly recommended! And it's right next to our gym so it's a win win
Big bowl of delicious Ramen with crispy karaage for a super affordable price. Hits the spot if you want a quick noodle fix, this type of value is so hard to find in Perth. I live nearby and always go there. Seems like its in the middle of the shopping center but its very quiet up there so you won't be disturbed. Laid back, friendly service too. Can't recommend it enough
Excellent food, good prices and friendly service make this my go to destination for a meal in Southlands
