Definitely the best PT program I have used thus far. They are very detailed in the program they provide in order to match you specific lifestyle and body. They are committed to keeping on track so you can reach you goal on time.
With weekly check ins and always friendly PT trainers, they make going to the gym fun.
They are focused on giving you confidence in the gym and ensure your posture is always perfect to enable you get the best results.

100% would recommend for everyone

I began with functional af’s eight week began and saw amazing results! I was able to pass my army fitness test by the end of the program I enjoyed the process and people so much that i’ve stayed on with functional af after the conclusion of the program

These guys are absolutely amazing. I came to them with so many health issues and a lack of confidence in the gym. They took their time working on one problem at a time and I couldn’t be happier. Best decision ever

Did the 8 week program though Women in Defence and absolutely loved it! Sam and Meg are wonderful and really pushed me to perform and put in 110% every session. I’ve seen huge results across the 8 weeks and would highly recommend to anyone looking.

& Megan, you guys are awesome and definitely kept me motivated throughout the 8 week program. The results from the training has significantly improved my technique, strength, and cardiovascular endurance. I’m definitely ready for a career in the Defence Force!

Trained with sam and megan for the 8 week defence force program and they're hands down THE BEST coaches out there. They're super motivating and always make sure that we're pushing ourselves to be the best we can be both in the gym and out of the gym. The program is such a personal experience and their resources for fitness and lifestyle are so valuable! This has translated into seeing crazy results and im so glad I chose to come train with them. Love you guys!:)

Visited Perth for work and needed a personal trainer to keep me accountable. It has always been hit and miss with a lot of personal trainers but with these guys it was a definite hit.

They listened to what I asked for and I enjoyed every second. I learnt so much from Sam in such short amount of time. Recommend 100%

Absolutely loved training with these guys. I have been training for years in many different styles of fitness and the level of coaching, professionalism and care for their clients is outstanding.

Highly recommend if you are looking for guidance in nutrition or training.

I could not recommend FAF enough. Especially Meg. It has been one of the best decisions I made for my fitness journey. They are all amazing at what they do and the support from the whole team is amazing.

I joined Functional AF looking for a personal trainer to help me work on my fitness so I could join the Defence Force.

Initially I was struggling with push-ups and could even get 1 and found it challenging with my sit-ups and had no idea how to get results as quickly as possible.

From day 1 to the day I passed my fitness assessment my personal trainer Sam was constantly there to support me towards my goal.

After 12 short weeks I passed my final assessment for push-ups, sit-ups and beep test and couldn’t be happier.

Thanks to Functional AF and the team for their support and knowledge and changing my life ️

If you are looking for coaches who are knowledgeable, friendly and take a genuine interest in bettering not only your physical health but also your mental health and well-being then they are who to contact!

FAF are AWESOME! Ive been with them for over 6 months. The past 5 years I've had other trainers from different businesses and Kyle is hands down the best! He has helped my recovery from back injury, helped me learn better eating habits and also helped me get to a goal weight for a special event. He cares, he's extremly knowledgeable, he's very adaptable and he has a great personality! I would highly recommend Kyle or any of the FAF trainers to anybody that is looking for the best support to achieve goals with their food and exercise regime or just to better their overall wellness, so much so that now my daughter and husband are training with them.

I joined FAF after trying a number of 8 & 12 week challenges and finding the results were short term. I’ve been working with Hattie for 18 months and throughly enjoy the holistic approach to health, nutrition and wellbeing. I’ve learnt long term strategies for optimal health and training but also the importance of food as fuel, managing stress, importance of sleep and how these can impact your time in the gym and your results.
If you are looking for coaches who genuinely care about their clients, are supportive and knowledgeable, look no further then FAF - a great group of coaches and a great community to be part of.

I approached Rhys 6 months ago with a list of goals in mind… since then we have got on top of my shoulder issue that has affected my training for over a year previously. Since fixing all my structural issues, training is more enjoyable and seeing a lot more progression towards my goals while keeping me accountable with my training and nutrition. As a Coach myself I can see the impact that Rhys has on myself and his clients

The Functional AF team is absolutely amazing. I started with FAF under the Defence Force 8-week program, and I have had such an incredible experience.
The coaches are so authentic, and I truly believe they were and still are invested in helping me succeed.
I am so excited to go to training each Monday, Wednesday and Friday which was never something that I expected going in. My close friends laughed with me when I said how much exercise I had committed to doing as I am normally am not the fitness type and am well know for having a hectic and full schedule.
While I have competed in a group sport setting before I often struggled to prioritise my fitness when life got really busy, leading to very inconsistent results. However, with FAF I am always excited to go to training as I feel confident that I can achieve great results and maintain a great life balance.
Every interaction I have had (and observed) with the coaches has been terrific, they are invested in every single person they train, promoting long term heathy lifestyle, beyond just training hard.
I have to say a particular thanks to Sam and Tahlya! Tahlya has been a great encouragement throughout my training, she is so approachable and focused at ensuring I am doing every exercise correctly and safely (and having a laugh with me as I wobble my way down in my lunges; and Sam is such an incredible coach! I often struggled with self-doubt preventing me from achieving my best results, Sam is always so encouraging, knowing when to push me and when to say well-done. Sam even went so far as to come to my fitness assessment, the last step in joining the Army Reserves, to cheer me on and encourage me to keep going, especially as I hit the level where I often fail.
You can feel the dedication they put into all their clients and the personalised approach. It is the FAF difference and is something I know has given me excellent results (33cm down so far, around my waist, hips and legs)
I cannot speak highly enough of the Functional AF team; they are an incredible group and a team that I would encourage anyone who is at any stage of their fitness journey to try, you will love it.

I’ve really been blown away over the last few weeks, with having personal trainers / training in the past in Perth I can see the value they have with the attention to detail in what I want to achieve. Making the process a lot easier than I thought with having an easy nutrition plan to manage what I like to eat to sustain weight loss as a main goal of mine long term. Looking forward to achieving many more health and fitness goals.

I joined FAF to drop body fat, get strong and get a better understanding of technique. Within 12 weeks I hit my goals! 2 years later still training with these guys and absolutely love it! 6 star personal trainers)
