Freshwater Park reviews
14A lovely area to have a walk, a run and or lingering around. Lots of trees, shades area and chairs to sit down, water flowing in the river and pool.
It's a nice area, but there's always mosquitoes. I wonder if there maybe should be a spraying program.
Simply Beautiful. One of the best little walking parks along the swan river, there’s so much to see and observe little waterfalls, a small pelican island, birds I’ve never seen before, and jellyfish! At first I thought it was a rock then I thought hang on rocks don’t float on close inspection it was varied species of jellyfish pinks one white ones just made my day.
Lovely park, lovely birds.
Ducks
Herons
Cormorants
Pelicans
Black swans
Birds
Cockatoos
Galahs
And
Hell lot of jellyfishes
Freshwater Park located within Ascot Waters is a beautiful nature reserve. It also has a lake between the Swan River and the road which includes a lovely waterfall and lots of flora and fauna including many native plants.
You can enjoy this Reserve all year round by taking a casual walk along the pathways and boardwalks which lead you around the lake and flowing streams into the lake and the Swan River. There are plenty of places to shade under a tree or plenty of park benches where you can sit and watch the day go by relaxing. There are also plenty of rubbish bins and disposable poop bags for your doggy if you took your dog for a walk and they made a mess. The pathways also have lights for night time that looks beautiful during the night. The park is overlooked by stunning double story if not triple story homes and the whole Reserve is such a stunning place. There is only street parking and only on one side of the road, so there's not a lot of parking spots available.

Nice park to w walk the dog alongside of the river. Beautiful scenery. Exercises equipment to use, family barbecue.
It was absolutely peaceful. Colourful trees made it so amazing. You can spend time with your family for walking around the lake.
Sometimes you have to truly wonder how fresh this water is because by the looks of it- not very! /10
Peaceful place. Enjoy a walking near the river, feel the birds singing and chill out whatching the duck yelling.
Awesome little area with a lovely walk by the river. Lots of fish, pelicans, ducks and swans to see. Secluded and delightful!
Beautiful park along the river's edge for a walk. Nice manicured lawns and a beautiful lake make for a great place to stretch your legs and take your dog for some exercise.
The early morning sunrise over the water is worth getting up before 5am for. Treat yourself to a spectacular sight, each morning different from the rest.
Good rest spot for stretch when kayaking island and double bridges. Good tracks for running around island, watch out for crows in season at far swamp cove.
