Macarons were good. Lemon meringue and red cake both still frozen… and 1 out of 3 coffees made were decent. We had one coffee remade, it was just as bad as the previous, just a lot hotter. Staff were really lovely though. 1.5/5 stars.

Worst place I've been for brunch. The chef doesn't know how to make poached eggs although its on the menu priced at $24. No coffee as the machine is broken. Waited for nearly an hour for food and had to leave as we were told it would take another 30mins. Pls don't advertise yourself as a place for breakfast or brunch if u can't meet basic customer expectations. Very disappointing.

Great cakes, nice coffee. Very popular, especially with Ellenbrook young mums having a get together.
Infrastructure needs $$$$

Very disappointing! We came for a Sunday brunch at 11am. No coffee (seriously?), no orange juice, no eggs Benedict I wonder why do they even bother to open! Will never ever come again to this place

It was our first breakfast in this hidden gem and we really enjoyed the food and the ambiance was very nice. We ordered the Breakfast Board and wifey had the Croissant. She ended up taking home the Croissant as she was helping me with the generous serving. We will definitely be back! Thank you!

Had a terrible experience trying to use a Gift Voucher today. It took 15 mins for the Gift Voucher to be accepted. The lady who served us was incredibly rude, calling her manager to see if she could ‘allow’ use of the gift voucher. Then she demanded that we spend the entire $100 in one sitting. When we went back inside to pickup the desserts the Female manager was rude & snappy then kept trying to give us dine in instead of takeaway. Food is great. Won’t return due to terrible attitude of management.

One of the best patisserie/coffe shop I have tried so far! Food is top quality! The scenery gives the extra touch!

Very dirty tables. There were fingerprints all over the plates cutlery and glasses. Very expensive food with no quality. Extremely lazy and unprofessional staff. Dont deserve such a good rating. So disapointing.

Wow! My Ladies group had high tea this morning. Amazing! The assortment of food was fantastic, great value and bottomless champagne if you choose this option. Thank you Kevin and the wonderful chef and team. Great service. As usual we will be back soon!

EDIT (28th Jan) : I came back in this last Friday to give this place another go. This time I ordered their lunch takeaway special - we got a couple of toasted baguettes (absolutely delicious - they were scoffed so fast I couldn't get a photo), the coffees were fantastic and the service was so quick and lovely. I waited no more than 10 minutes for everything. Here's hoping this standard is consistent - I'd love to make this place my weekend regular.

I dropped in here to get a quick takeaway breakfast for my partner and I. The coffees were great and the service was friendly but I waited half an hour and paid a premium for a croissant with one sad slice of ham and a wafting of unmelted, pre-shredded cheese. Half the croissant was soggy from the dressing on the greens.
I don't mind a wait if the food is good, but this is embarrassing.

Absolutely a hidden gem!
The food is delicious, and the staff are friendly. The only drawback is the wait times, as it can get quite busy, we waited an hour for breakfast.

Average. That's what I initially wrote but the owner wants me to be more specific. Well, the service was quite good although we waited for nearly half an hour for our food to arrive. And it wasn't busy time. Next, the food. The words "French" and "crepes" made us to make a trip to Ellenbrook but We were disappointed with the crepes - they were too thick and chewy - instead light and fluffy. So this is why 3 stars and comment "average".

Great place! Calm vibe, inside and outside seating, overlooking lake under grapevines.
Great service and amazing French food. Macarons are fabulous and croissants awesome too. Had the granola one day and eggs on toast with real French butter another. Both lovely meals. Would recommend booking for busy times, as is very popular.

I read on line about French Riviera, this was my first visit to check it out. A quick visit for coffee and cake and was not disappointed. Fabulous selection of cakes, a great menu for larger meals and licensed to boot. Limited but good selection of alcoholic drinks covering whites, reds, sparkling and beer. Great setting overlooking a small lake with outside tables sheltered by grape vines.a pleasant ambience.worth visiting, I'll certainly be returning!

Great Lil piece of France tucked away in Ellenbrook. Highly recommend the Crepes.sweet and savoury and of course the Macrons and Patisserie. I had the savoury crepe with eggs and bacon, which was filling and delicious. The water features, grapevines, seats and tables around the verandah help with ambience.
Pet friendly, my dog loved the dog treats which you can purchase. Made two visits so far. Definitely worth a visit if your in the area.
