Fremantle Old Fire Station Hostel

It's a nice hostel, the location is good. It would be nice if we could have some paper towels in the kitchen, i am sure it'll help people clean after themselves. The price is pretty ridiculous (expensive) considering the fact that it's a hostel. The CLIENTS (not guests) at the hostel are very nice. Another thing that stood out was the receptionist, with emphasis on Alex and Dan. Super kind, always going over and beyond to help you. Superb people really.

Unfortunately I experienced terrible unacceptable service. I booked a room and unfortunately had to cancel my reservation. I sent numerous messages tried calling, was promised a refund and still haven’t gotten any response at all not to mention a refund. They were very efficient in taking my money but totally ignored me once I cancelled. I’m still waiting. It’s been two months and no response. Your money is at stake if you may have to cancel

The service in general is not that bad but they charge you a bond of 60 doli to enter and they don't give it back or at least they do everything possible to keep it and being always high they also do the math wrong.
Electronic music at all hours. If you don't like the party, it's not a good place.
Cleaning is decent.
If you are a woman, you can reserve a room in the hostel within the same hostel only for women. People are a matter of luck like everywhere.

I have been here for almost a year and it feels like home, where I met my family thank you for one of the best times of my life, sad to leave

Amazing hostel, right in the heart of freo, super helpful staff and other backpackers. This hostel offers a calm and relaxed environment as well as a place to have a beer and listen to music if you so wish

OFS offers a variety of rooms from private rooms all across to 12 bed dorms! Clean facilities and plenty of kitchen space! Cinema room and a TV room with Xbox and playstation! Computers are available and plenty of books to choose from to read!

The hostel is filled with plenty of friendly staff that can help you out with work or visiting places around Fremantle and Perth!

This hostel offers quiet space as well as the party atmosphere, so it caters for everybody!

The staff was great, the rooms not so much.overcrowded, one aircon unit was split between a wall. Also i was having a game of table tennis outside with a friend and mid game someone decided to rack up a couple lines of a white substance on the table. Not impressed because i lost that point

Always met good staff there, including those backpackers they hire for casual work around the place. Loved the chill vibes, everyone so friendly, quiet most times, picks up into party season too. I mostly just visited friends here but did say the occasional night.could do with more showers but they've done well turning it into a hostel, for the old firestation it is.

Booked a double bed room. Arrived to dirty sheets. Room smelled like smoke (cigarette and other substances). Admin take a $60 hold for the room key, was supposed to be refunded on checkout, however had to call days later to follow up.

Super nice vibe from the guests and the staff. It also has a girl area with a separate kitchen, lounge and bathrooms. Special thanks to Jana, Tess and Lala for being amazing! ️

Always choice number 1 in Fremantle!
Great vibes, AWESOME stuff and close to the supermarket and train station. You can also catch a free bus nearby to go to the beach called CAT service.
Will always have great memories from this place.

If you don't want to sleep, this is the best place to stay. Loud music all day/night & uncomfortable pillows and mattress.
Not everyone likes party everyday guys!
Also there's no free parking Around it's everything ticket from 5am - midnight.
Positive things:
Nice staff and toilets very clean.

Cracking venue. Only visited for parties. The staff are lovely, friendly and helpful.
