I went here for the yearly art festival where you can buy art work that is made elsewhere in the state. Some of the artists are present, and although chaotic and very busy there is plenty of opportunity for browsing and comparing. There is also an exhibition of the most important contributors, which is freely accessible. Parking can be difficult, as the police checks for cars that are parked on the curbs (which is not allowed). There is a water fountain available in case you get thirsty, but also a cafe with relatively slow coffee service.

The art market is continuing still even after Covid. During rain they move the artwork in tents and they gave a large folding sheet to protect the pieces that are outside.

Lovely historical site (formerly an asylum dating back 1860), now with art exhibitions, art classes and cafe which makes it a great place to unwind.

Totally lovely place. Offer kids art courses and yum food. Bring extra cash for the art shop as goods are pricy.
Great space for kiss. Gallery is free. Bring your own picnic and go for a walk around the property.
Great place of peace.

Fabulous little spot tucked away in freo. Whether you relax on the lawn or eat at the cafe or even visit the art gallery. Occasionally there are little concerts too.

The Fremantle Arts Center is a great place to bring arts to people. Offering music, galleries, and asserts courses there is always something for everyone. Lately I subscribed to an evening class which is very handy as I go to work during the day. All that is presented in a gorgeous heritage building, simply fabulous!

Big beautiful venue, great for a concert. The elements of nature add to the serene and beautiful environment created at the venue. Heaps of room for sitting, heaps of room for standing, good facilities and they were efficient in processing a large amount of people very quickly for entry, drinks and toilets.

Great courtyard garden music series, supported by galleries currently showing Shaun Tan's excellent art, and with a good cafe and shop.

Watched Liam Gallagher there and it was a pretty good gig. As for the venue, the bar was a little awkward and formed a massive line. And it seemed really soft, not sure if there are volume restrictions at this place but I think Oasis should be played at such a volume that it threatens to sonically peal the skin off your face. Good but not the best.

The shady cafe was very relaxing. The old buildings and shady trees protect you from the wind and heat. A great place to relax and get a bit of culture from the galleries.

My Daughter took me for a meal at Canvas bistro and it was amazing. I had some waffles with berries, pistachios and a dollop of double cream.the best.staff are welcoming and friendly. Meals are outside on tables under a canopy of trees and flowers in a secluded court yard. A really great spot.

Always amazing contemporary art displays. Even if the subject matter or medium is not my forte, exhibitions are always presented at highest level and attention to detail with thoughtful innovative exhibition design makes it worth visiting every show regardless. Showcases interesting relevant artists and exhibitions.

Good book shop, gift shop and cafe, lovely atmosphere and relaxed shaded grass areas.

Watched the one and only LG here and it was amazing - just wish I'd know the layout of the place before hand and taken a picnic and a blanket but it was amazing regardless.

Great venue for music concerts - standing room at the front, raised area at the back where people sit (BYO blanket). Super chilled, heaps of parking nearby and great location in freo. Lots of food and drink choices available for those who need it. Can get chilly even in summer so bring a jacket just in case
