Freemasons Tavern Beverley reviews
34Sensational service, food and drinks! The food is absolutely incredible. Fantastic prices for food and drinks. Well worth the visit when in town! Must visit!
Renovated within the last 5 years and well maintained. Super friendly staff, great area for the kids - outside play equipment, indoor TV with Netflix, YouTube etc.
Didnt eat, however all the tables were taken with people dining in so Ide say it must be pretty good. Worth a stop and refreshing ale.
Went to check out a house to purchase only minutes away from the pub. Thought we would pop in to see what the local was like. Greeted by a lovely man who made us very welcome whilst explaining the bars restaurant and the history of the pub.
Modern and slick city hotel in the country. Big screen TV's, Foxtel and everything shiney and new. Went there last Saturday night (12/09/20) for a meal and a few beers. Single barman was absolutely flat out serving and taking meal orders, so service was slow. Owner/manager was manning the kitchen, I think, but she was very accommodating when I asked some questions. Meals were good but clean up was slow. They definitely need more staff. Could have been any one of half a dozen hotels in Perth.
Edit: Been here a couple of times in the last 12 months. The last time was 18/09/21. New owners. The place was packed, there was a birthday party and sport club night and most other tables were packed. Meals were slow but we realised that they were going to be because of crowd and were happy to have a couple of beers anyway. Staff were fantastic and gave us a free round to make up for the wait. Owner came around at the end of the night and had a chat and seems to be aware of the issues and trying to fix them. Updated to 4 stars.
Update. 9/4/22: Dropped in on Saturday afternoon for a few beers and a feed (and to watch the footy). The place was packed. The menu has been revamped and expanded. All the food from the Ribs special to the Squid to the Steak were excellent and well cooked. The baked potatoes with the Steak were extremely nice. Unfortunately the prices seem to have gone up a fair bit and have become expensive for a country town. Also they don't have Swan Draught, which is a major shame. Decor is still really slick and like a city pub and the staff were really good considering the size of the crowd, which is an improvement. Still only a 4 due to price.
Edit 16/4/23: We went here on Friday night and this place has gone down hill in the last twelve months. The menu has shrunk a lot and is nowhere near the quality, we suspect there has been a change of cook. One of our crowd had the lamb shanks we could smell that they were off. The staff said they couldn't smell it but replaced the meal with something else which took about an hour. He still couldn't stomach it, so got it as take away. He was unwell at about 2: 30am. I have revised to 2's because of the attitude of the managers. At least they have Swan Draft now.
Our family Had lunch today, was awesome staff are fantastic.
Food was awesome. Fish n chips, parmigiana, jalapeños, calamari, garlic bread.
Fantastic great atmosphere perfect spot to escape the heat, company, 5 star meals and service, children entertained and catered for. Its the perfect spot in the country to let your hair down, enjoy the cold beer/ cocktail/ wine and have a great night out. Perfect for the ladies too!
We had a great time at the Freemasons Hotel. We were celebrating? A good friend's 60th birthday. Food was good.thanks kitchen staff, was great having you ladies cooking again. Makes a huge difference. Bar staff were great as well. Thanks Freemasons Hotel (Beverley).
Great renovation pub! Looks good and clean. Not had food here yet but I shall return with an update
Dare you to suggest that these garlic prawns aren't the best around, and the garlic bread omg. Pizza chicken meat and more, every dish is delish. Oh and the staff are pretty awesome.
Great staff and excellent food.
We had a beautiful meal, played some pool and watched the footy.
Service was fantastic also! We will definitely stop by again when we are in Beverly. Great spot!
Superb old-pub bought into the 21st Century
Classy interior fit out - great food and service - Well worth the drive/visit.
Best hotel I've stayed in for years. The staff are very helpful and curtious. The meals were delicious and big servings. Prices are excellent wonderful experience, thank you Graham, John, Kylie and the youngest waitress whom lives local. She was very helpful with a great persona and customer service attitude.
Thank you, thank you
Had a great lunch there when my partner and I were in the area for a weekend getaway. The pub is spacious with good seating options inside and out. Friendly and helpful staff with reasonably priced food as well. They had fox footy on as well which is always a winner in my book. Food was good and tasty. Enjoyed our time
Very friendly and welcoming staff and nice clean rooms, with very good food and a good selection of meals to choose from.
Visited on November 10 for Lunch with my wife. The food was great. We enjoyed a lovely steak and Vietnamese Chicken Salad. Both 10/10. The owners are lovely and enjoy a chat. Great service and nice cold beer. Will be back.

8 people booked in for dinner and drinks. Meals were a long time coming and we're ok except the Grilled Fish. Looked poached and lacked colour from the grill. Asked waitress to have it tossed over on grill again. Still lacking. One of the girls was offered half their money back and told " If she's not happy with that, leave and don't ever come back. We didn't and had a great meal in York the next day
New owners, new chefs, Italian food, attentive hosts, looking forward to much more than just another country pub.
Waited nearly 1 and half hours for dinner. Was not hungry by the time it was served. Should have been told of the wait when order. Very poor service
Fish was a bit rubbery, cooked way to long.
Otherwise a nice place to chill between towns
