36I shop at freedom myaree quite often and have bought rugs, dressers, cushions, arm chairs, and outdoor furniture. Absolutely no issues and customer service was decent so I'm not sure why others are leaving negative reviews about customer service. We've never had issues with delivery, pickup, or getting someone to help us despite visiting the store more than 20 times.
I recently was looking for a new bed and decided to stop in at Freedom Myaree and check out the sales. I received some of the best customer service I have ever experienced. Tracey was knowledgeable, attentive and very accommodating in her approach. I will 100% be going back if I need any other homewares just to be served by Tracey!

I made a purchase of two reclining sofas in January of this year due to Covid. I knew there was going to be a long wait which is fine when dealing with staff in store they were very helpful. The part that I was unhappy with was that no staff member told me about the cashback offer of when you spend over $1000 or more you can earn back $50 per thousand dollars you spend. I had an account and there was no money put onto my account. My purchase was over $5000. I was going to come back in and purchase a rug for my lounge room but after finding out that I didn’t have the money on my account to put towards the purchase. I ended up, leaving and buying my rug at a competitor, I was very disappointed. As I do like coming inside the store as you always have lovely home wares, I was looking forward to spending that reward purchasing something else in store.

Poor pick up options. Has taken 3 attempts to be able to pick up our order from the depot, waste of time. We still haven’t been able to pick it up and after 3 months of waiting we are fed up. Freedom staff have not offered any assistance.
A beautiful shop with a great range. Helped out by Justin who couldn't have been more accommodating or done more to ensure I chose the correct furniture for my family. Thank you!

Lovely fresh furniture, nice atmosphere with some good ideas with the displays. Large store, lots of linen, towels and items for every room. Good friendly helpful staff. Price is reasonable for furniture. Colour decor in browns, grey/silver tones. Excellent for neutral decor. Worth a browse if looking for something different.
Staff were just so lovely. I was in the store today to redeem a voucher and my children were making me anxious in a store which was virtually white everything but the staff this afternoon made me feel so comfortable and welcome that it reduced my anxiety greatly! Thanks ladies!
Worst customer service I’ve experienced from a retail brand. We had a high spend and with the opportunity of an ongoing relationship, but management needs a change at this store.

Very patient and nothing was too much trouble either shifting pieces of furniture for display or gathering samples.

Ordered a couch which estimated a 12 week wait time and it has now been 16 weeks and still nothing. Customer service along the way has been very poor. Don’t buy anything unless it is in stock and available that day.
Paid for a coffee table and heard nothing about the order being ready for pick up. Had to follow up and told they had made a mistake and it would not be in for another two months. No offers for any discount or apology. Extremely dissatisfied.
Vee has helped me purchasing goods over the phone as I didn’t had the time to come during their opening hours. She did some extra work to make sure everything will be available for when I ll pick up my purchases (she managed to get an extra bedside table when i was told I ll have to wait another 6 weeks). I was extremely happy if her service and I will def recommend that store (BetteR than Osborn park)
It is very rare to get such professional and friendly service.

It is the worst furniture shop, they don't, respect customers, they don't have any commitment to the customers, they don't respect the schedule and the time when they should provide the service. They took my money and I was waiting for 2 weeks to get my sofa, which should come directly, but no one tried to contact me or to tell me that there is a problem. After 3 visits to the shop, and promises, sofa didn't come, and they said sorry you have to wait we don't know when you will get your sofa. I don't recommend this shop if you want to get a responsible people who respect their words
Order never came
We ordered a new outdoor couch before Christmas and were told 2 weeks delivery. 2 weeks later coincided with the bushfires and the closure of the Eire Hwy so we decided to wait a bit longer. Over 2 months after we placed the order, Freedom has not contacted us so I followed up. The person I spoke to had no idea what was going on and promised a return call the next day. Almost a week later we got a call back that they had over sold the couch and it was discontinued. We've been offered a refund. They're claiming it's problems with their new ordering system that went live in October.
I love the sofa and table, coffee table for my new house! Delivery takes time but I love them so much. Good quality and good customer service
After care service for Freedom is extremely poor - non-existent! Told to put my concerns/claim via their website from Myaree WA store, as you are unable to speak to head office in person. Bought a lounge in late April 2019, emailed head office in August 2019 regarding the quality and issues with the lounge, no reply. Followed up again, someone called in November, said she would get back to me - which she did from no ID number. Left a message to say she would try again to arrange a time for someone to come see the lounge, but did not leave a number or email so no way to contact her back! I re-contacted Myaree Store a couple of times to get hold of someone, again unable to assist so in mid-January put another claim/contact request via their website. Still no contact. Poor service. The lounge is not worth the cost paid and after-care service is.
I never write reviews but I decided to warn fellow shoppers. The customer service at this store is HORRIBLE. My partner and I ordered a sofa a couple of months ago. We were told it would be delivered before Christmas. When we followed up the week before Christmas we were told it was backordered and would probably not arrive for a couple additional weeks. One of the managers, Peta, offered to follow up on the order and call us back. We were never called back.
After Christmas we received a call that the sofa was in Perth and would be delivered within the week. We were so excited because we’ve been without a sofa while waiting.
We received a call today that the sofa was no longer being made and told we’d be getting a call from a manager to organize our refund.
I decided to call the store about the refund. I was greeted by a irritable manager who said she was too busy to help us now and would call us back. I asked for a refund and she refunded us in a few minutes. She literally said “we’re slammed and can’t possibly answer your question right now”.
Not only have they lost our $1500 sale; they have also lost a customer.
The lifetime value of a lost customer and bad reviews can be devastating.
I hope Freedom Myaree starts prioritizing customers that have already made a purchase over the possibility of a new sale. I know we won’t be shopping here again.
