Foxy Nails

My SNS (manicure) and shellac (pedicure) usually last me from 3 to 4 weeks so I am very pleased with the service. The staff are also friendly and engaging.

Worse set of nails I have had took 2 hours and the ladies looked like they didn’t know how to do them also the cost is crazy will not be returning

The ladies are nice and very patient, however they have no skills! My nails are uneven and thick, they are not even the same length, my left nails are much shorter than my right. It’s so ugly that I have to go to another shop to redo it. I absolutely not recommend it.

Nice friendly staff. Very quick if you go during no peak hours. Would love the staff not to speak in another language.

They charged me 20$ for eyebrow wax which was just 15$ coz I didn't brought cash, they should have inform me before! I m not happy with their service will never go back!

I had a good experience here:) I felt cared for and my technician had light conversation with me unlike most salons I’ve been to. Will be coming back again! The nails were good for the most part, with the exception of my middle finger which looks a little awkward. Regardless, I definitely recommend this salon.

Rushed service, poor quality with shellac peeling off after a week. Also tax evading for sure.for some reason the eftpos machine is always mysteriously broken. Extremely rude too, don't waste your time here

Most of the staff where friendly. I had two ladies handling my nails to take off acrilics, the first lady kept leaving and the second was quite rough. My nail length was uneven when I came in as one of my acrilics popped off the night before so I filed it down slightly. However, they didn't even the nail length until I asked, which surprised me. When shaping the nails, I was not asked what I wanted, leaving all my nails to be different shapes and angles. I got shellac on normal nails after my acrilics where removed. The colour is beautiful but the manicure looks like waves, they are very bumpy. I was able to reshape my nails myself at home, which made them look 100times better. But I am sad they are so bumpy. I am not sure if I will return.

Went in for shaping of nails and polish. Staff didn't understand what I was after. Shape of nails are not the same on all. Not once did the lady who looked like a wanna be rapper ask me a question. Applied the polished and then left me sitting there. Was a total mess by the time it was finished and not happy at all. Where has the friendly staff gone?
I won't be going back!

I recently visited the Karawara Foxy nails store. I went in for a "relaxing" pedicure with shellac and also SNS on my finger nails. No conversation just "take a seat there" While sitting in the pedicure chair, two separate people came in to have "chipped" nail repairs. Two days later, 3 nails had chipped so I returned to have them repaired. When I went in, there was a young girl behind that counter that said to me "is it our fault? ! " while another lady said " just take a seat" The SNS coating was done so thin no wonder they chipped so easily. The lady who did my repair did not seem impressed at all and was quiet rude. Even to the point of filing my nails back even shorter causing pain when she filed so far down. When I got up to leave I said "do I owe anything" to which she replied with no. I said thankyou so much and she replied with "yep" and not even making eye contact with me. I expected so much more in terms of service, especially after paying $95! Won't be returning and in fact just investing in my own SNS dip set so I can do it myself.

Landed up with a huge toe infection and in antibiotics. The lady clipped down the side of my nail and then pulled. I am in so much pain.

Really mediocre experience. I had come in for a spa pedicure and had informed the lady not to touch my cuticles as I have a notorious issue with them dwelling up after removal. Repeated it several times but she didn't listen and proceeded to put them out and actually hurt my nail bed to the point where it had a minor bleed.
I would suggest to go to another nail salon as I've definitely had better experience.

Walked in just after opening and was sat down straight away, the lady was amazing. She listened exactly to what I wanted and at one stage there were two lady’s working on my nails which was great because I was in a hurry. The lady who finished them off was very professional and kept making sure they looked great. I walked out extremely happy and glad that I happened to go to this shop:) Thanks to the ladies at foxy nails!

Quick & friendly service. This nail shop is clean & consistent in the services they offer.
You can relax in their massage chairs whilst getting a spa pedicure.
They also offer a good eyebrow wax at the back of the shop

Came to get the SNS on my nails taken off as I didn’t have time to go to the regular salon I go to, was charged $20 just to soak my nails in acetone and then file them down with the drill, quick buff and cuticle oil. I think $20 is a bit excessive just for that! They were a bit pushy and kept asking if I wanted a manicure or to redo the SNS even though I made it clear I just wanted it off. They filed my nails down to much and now they are flimsy. The other girl went to work on another customer and the guy that took over to finish off was friendly and gentle though. However I won’t return here

Gel Polish on toe nails

PROS
- Nails looked really well, lasted for a long time with no chipping.
- Fast
- Cheap ($30)

CONS
- Barely spoke all along
- When my nails were cured she just left me there and started another client without speaking at all, until I had to call her

I would return though, and would still recommend for a quick easy job like gels on toes.

Through local recommendations went Early Friday morning when not busy & got SNS on my nails & got sucked into upselling to a manicure. Appreciate that all technicians have their own way so tried not to compare & Didn’t complain when she cut my cuticle quick on 2 fingers. The service was extremely quick & technician friendly so counted these as a positive until my sns started lifting in the corner of my inflamed cuticles less than 2 days later. When returned to shop I had to explain myself 3 times in front of other customers while staff spoke non English “come back a few days” doesn’t work neither does “an hour later” to travellers. In summary don’t let them up sell you to a manicure or let them know your from out of town because you may feel disappointed. Liked my left hand & loved the colour.

Absolutely awful job, got my nails done 3 days ago with acrylics they did them way too thin and they cracked not to mention they put the paint way too low and I’ll probably have to get them refilled in a week. The paint job was terrible, it doesn’t look nice and smooth. After my nail broke I came back in for them to fix it and they rushed it so much (even thought they had 1 client) they left that nail wayyy shorter, thicker and wider than the others. NEVER COMING BACK. Don’t go here.
