4Was on the way to a meeting. Saw this place an pulled in to grab something to eat for lunch. The only food they had available (13: 00) was only pies. I asked if it would be too much trouble to make a burger (it was very clearly displayed on their menu). She said, "Sure, but it will be 5 minutes, I have to make it from scratch". I was happy to wait 5 minutes. Over the next 20 minutes, I sat, and waited. Over the next 20 min, many customers came in, some were served successfully, some, like me were unable to secure a transaction of goods for funds. And after the 20 min, after being told several times, "I'm just making it, just few more minutes. " I had to leave. I was late for my meeting. I had already paid. To this day, I'm owed a burger.
Two ladies run the joint, i have only been there once, pies and sausage rolls are homade unique very nice pastrie and meat. Only reason why i gave it 4 stars is because it was a bit to expensive and i am a cheap skate
Big caterpillar infestation problem in this village. The grounds have Cape Lilac trees surrounding the park homes and the cedar white moth/caterpillars enter the homes and cocoon and pupate throughout the year. To-date nothing is being done to remove these trees. Pest control companies have advised they are an issue throughout Perth and various councils (Victoria Park and Bayswater) have been proactive in removing these trees. The regular caterpillar infestations are a continuous source of distress for the residents of the village and action needs to be taken on this issue to return quality of health and lifestyle outcomes for all concerned. The activity of the caterpillars is such that they can be found all over the inside of a property, behind curtains/blinds, under beds, in clothes. It is an ongoing serious problem possibly not understood by the owners of the village.
