Forest Lakes Medical Centre reviews
22Dr. Hamza at Forest Lakes Medical Center is top-notch – professional, knowledgeable, and flexible with appointments. A solid 10/10 recommendation! Kudos to Dalal at reception for her incredible assistance in scheduling last-minute appointments – kind and patient throughout.
My husband was there this afternoon but when he bought the prescription medicine and pharmacist noticed there is a mistake and adviced him to contact GP again to get another repeats. When he called to them, the receptionist refused to pass his message to the GP and asked him to book another appointment again to see the GP. They just want to make money and dint care about sick people.
I would rather give 0 stars. Booked an appointment for the dentist to turn up and find they are not even operating yet. Not a great start to any business. Don't know why they allowed the appointment to be booked.
Excellent. They arranged an emergency ambulance to get me to hospital. Thank you. If I had waited much longer before I came to see you, I would not be writing this post. Thank you.
If I could I would not even give one star to this clinic. I had an appointment today with Ilham Al-hakeem. I asked the receptionist and also called Dr Amira Hamza and confirmed from him that if a new patient arrives and asks for a carer certificate then they are given carer certificates for their partner if the partner hasn’t gone to work. This is not against the medical law. But I was advised by Ilham Al Hakeem that it is against the medical law to provide carer or medical certificates to new patients. These are her exact words. I called Dr Amira and also the receptionist and randomly asked them if new patients are given medical certificates or not and both of them said yes.
If Dr Ilham didn’t want to give the certificate out of her own choice that is fine but lieing to the patient is not acceptable that it is against the law. I have confirmed that it is not against the law.
Shame on Dr like this who lie to their patients just because I used to be her patient before but just because I moved to a new house so I have started to see a doctor near my new home and after a long time I went back to this clinic so this is what she does with patients. Lieing is not acceptable in any profession and giving false information is against the law.
I will tell all my family and friends to never visit this clinic.
Absolutely disgusting behaviour from admin, SARAH.
Being in the healthcare sector and so rude, come on. Get a grip. Not qualified enough to wash plates with that behaviour: (

I am so glad I found this doctor surgery! We have recently moved so I was looking for a new family doctor.
Dr Jayne Schoppe is absolutely amazing! She is so kind and caring. She does not rush you and it honestly feels like you’re talking to a friend. She listens and gives great advice. She explains things and makes you feel so comfortable. She is the best doctor I have been to. I am truly grateful for finding her. Thank you Jayne!
My son also had to have his one year old needles and the nurse (I’m sorry I didn’t catch your name- I’m thinking Eileen?) She was so beautiful too! Such a kind, warm, lovely lady. Thank you!
Truly grateful for you guys. Thank you so much!
Booked a telehealth appointment at 3: 30, never got called so after 1 and a half hours i call the receptionist and she tells me i am in waiting list now shouldnt be too long, another hour and a half goes by so i call again and she tells me hes busy he will call soon, its now their closing time and still havent been called and im desperate for my medical results
This is my local GP I have always received fantastic service
Today the receptionist Sarah hung up on me twice put me on hold before I could speaking
She stated they were to busy. I had to call back three times she did not apologise just said they were to busy.
I then asked her the third time I called to please check with the doctor if they needed to see me. She stated they don’t do that
Very concerned and very disappointed I have been a patient for 7 years
Merry Christmas
Doctors are nice, the receptionist could be rude, depends who you talk to. They should improve on the training of front staff.
Needing a new family doctor we'd made the right choice in attending Forest Lakes Medical Centre!
I've grown up attending this clinic and it shall be where I take my own children in time, I have faith in my doctors' and their advocacy for my health. The women's health services have been particularly helpful, I've always been taken seriously with diligence and care, I feel heard and comfortable. The customer service is friendly and the front desk staff are just as attentive as the doctors. The location is efficient with ample parking and the facility is always clean. It's a hassle free visit with the pathology clinic on site and prompt waiting times. Genuine health care!
The doctor I like is ALWAYS booked out for weeks in advance. Today I've been waiting an hour, I am only here for a vaccination and need the doctor to give me the all clear before hand. Adter 40 mins I poke to reception they apologised for not letting me know about the wait, after an hour I spoke to reception again just as Dr Amira called my name. Dr Amira was very apologetic and got me threw to the nurse pronto. The nurse was very apologetic aswell.
Dr Amira and nurse Lisa were polite and professional
I highly recommend Anne Angelovska here as a pychologist. She is excellent and very caring and understanding.
Receptionists were rude, didn't get told it was a no bulk-billing practice so was charged $70 for a 5 minute appointment. Doctor was also making uncomfortable remarks. Won't be back here!
I had an appointment at 7.40pm today 15 Jul 19, we came late at 7.45 pm (on purpose as it was always long wait here). When we came, the gate closed, as we didn't believe it was already closed, we were waiting in front of the gate, tried as it may opened, we also tried to call (no success, went to machine asked to call emergency, etc, etc), it was already about 7.55pm (attachment), we walked around tried to find an entrance, drove backwards after finally we found an entrance (could check if camera there)
As soon as we entered the practice at already 8pm, the receptionist was looked misearable, didn't want to be there, named FARAH, she said why I was late, I said because the gate closed (when we came 7.45pm) very rude and kept carrying on she said we lied because the gate she just closed 5 minutes before. Hopefully they had the camera on with audio so could see how her behaviour was, especially at the beginning.
We didn't know that the gate issue was worry her so much as we just said the way it was, super angry kept carrying on and on and on.only about the gate, even she shouted to my husband who tried to talk to her nicely.
She also said that she was a Receptionist and could decide that we won't be able anymore to see GP there, INSTEAD OF LOOKING AFTER US ABOUT APPOINTMENT, she was just ready to argue/fight, she immediately was quiet after seeing the last GP came out ready to go home.
Let me guess, she was just so angry as she wanted to go home, got caught closed the gate too early and turn the phone system off! First time in my life to know a such rude receptionist! Don't understand with that attitude could be employed as company could lose a lot of business!
Been a customer for years but recently my Doctor left the practice. Reception wanted $30 to transfer my file to my doctor. What a joke. I was really not impressed. On top of that, reception always put you on old and it seems like for ever to get through, and being cut off when on hold and having to call back is really upsetting. Level of reception service has little to be desired.
Dr Hamza Amira was very rude. I. The middle of my appointment his mobile rings. He shouts stay out of my life at his phone. But then walks over to the desk and answers it, talking in another language. With no apologies at the end for answering etc. And I’m paying for this service? Awful! Will never be returning and strongly advise others to do the same.
NO BULK BILLING! Worst medical centre I’ve ever stepped in too. The receptionist didn’t have the courtesy to acknowledge that the practice wasn’t bulk billing and I simply went there for a medical note. I feel tricked, mislead in to paying $70 for a medical note. There were nothing in the establishment to say this was not a bulk billing practice. When questioned The useless receptionist was telling me over and over again that it’s on the website! Pathetic! One of the worst experiences ever. Never will I ever step in to this deceiving, misleading “medical” practice and will inform everyone from my community to stay away!
Thanks for the team and on top Dr Ilham for taking care of my daughter who came with fever and left the clinic happy and much better.
