I recently commissioned Ford & Doonan Joondalup to install a ducted air conditioning system in my home. I was happy with the products presented, the timeliness of the correspondence and their pricing seemed fair for the work required. I was content with how our purchase was progressing.
In the end It was the installation that left me blown away. This was going to be a big job, taking nearly all day to complete. Strangers would be walking through my home, cutting into ceilings as they went. I was understandably anxious about this, but could not speak highly enough about the comfort I felt having their installation team complete their work. I never once felt uncomfortable during the day and had a number of great conversations with the team while they went about their day. The moved through the house with efficiency and did a fantastic job of cleaning as they went. I was given a great demonstration of the system, even ensuring the zones were labelled to my liking. I have since had a major issue with the unit, and am pleased to say that the after sales support was also excellent. My system was back up and running quickly. Overall I would not hesitate to recommend Alex and his team at Ford and Doonan Joondalup – although there are plenty of suppliers for air conditioning, the comfort I felt with their installation team was magnificent, making them a standout in my opinion.

Very happy with the service from start to finish. I had a few quotes and although F&D were slightly more expensive then others, I decided to go with them due to the thorough and professional quote I received. I am glad I made this decision as the team who came did an excellent job. We had a slight issue after install but this was rectified immediately without any stress. Everyone I have spoken to at the company from the sales and office staff to the install team have been very friendly and approachable. Great work

Aaron and his team where very professional how they went about installing my Daikin ducted system. They arrived on time introduced themselves and were pleasant to deal with.

Great service from start to finish, from the sales department to the install. The installation team were fantastic, they had drop sheets and hoover to clean up any mess and kept the disruption to a minimum.

The sales Quoting / measuring up was fine.
Product installed were top quality Daikin unit's as expected

The Install didn't go well
The guys who actually do the work aren't /weren't employees but all subbies via different companies. Shouldn't matter but when problems happen there is 5x different people to deal with not 1 person representing them

One of the subbies wholeaslers turned at at 520am with some "parts for me", and it went down hill from there, the refridgeration technician drilled out through the wrong exterior plastered brick wall at the walkway into the front door,

The duct installer's measured a few ducts a meter to low and drilled through for lounge ducts straight into master bedroom, not into ceiling cavatiy, then installed other ducts to low that a bulkead couldn't be built as interferred with the door closing.

On commissioning the sparky tunred on and the whole system was whistling really really loudly and he quickly turned it off and said see ya later ring Ford an Doonan on Monday.

Lesson learnt - Don't book in works for Friday's.

Unit works well but dissapointing experience that I had to chase the F+D rep to get sorted. The rep initially came out and tried to make it right then let me know his position exact words
"I'm not going to keep copping this" and left me to sort out the mess. Would be a 1* review but Daikin unit bumps it up to 2*.

We had Ford and Doonan come to remove an ancient ducted system and install a brand new one. I made the mistake of being home for most of the day while they installed it and in my ignorance was overwhelmed by the mess and dust involved. With two toddlers coming home shortly I was an anxious mumzilla and called Laura at the office. She was so lovely and managed to calm my nerves. Aaron and his team were also very empathetic and accomodating. He saw my distress and personally organised for someone to come clean my home. If you value great customer service, I highly recommend Ford and Doonan and can’t speak highly enough of Lewis, Laura, Aaron and his team. The system is amazing as well, I’m looking forward to testing it out this summer!

Jacques and the team were amazing! On time & high energy. Had the vacuum cleaner, drop sheets and sugar soap on hand to clean up any mess. Worked all through the rain, they checked the aircon system before leaving and noticed an issue, stayed back to make sure everything was running smoothly and set us all up with the app. We were extremely happy with the service and professionalism. These guys know the product inside and out and we’re so friendly! Power was only off for 1 hour so no real disruption to our day and we’re we’re able to carry on working from home.

I had a Daikin system installed 01.06.2022 - The team that came out were EXTREMELY professional and well presented. I would recommend them and the installers are a credit to the Ford & Doonan Joondalup setup.

We recently had a Daiken 12.5Kw Reverse Cycle Ducted Air Conditioner and were extremely happy with the installation.
The Installers/Contractors arrived on time, were very clean and tidy in them selves.
The installation was completed within the allocated time, and no mess was left behind.
There were a couple of minor issues which were rectified immediately.

Great work from the boys from Ford & Doonan and a big shout out to the lady and son for cleaning the house.
Ford & Doonan are the way to go.

Had a Panasonic air-conditioning system installed, works well and love the upgrade key panel. Men were very friendly, even thou it was a extremely hot day. Only reason I gave it a 4 star rating is because A: that couldn't fix it in one day as there was a faulty part but fixed it the next day on time. B: There was a large section of old ducting left behind in roof, other than that I'm very happy with product and service, will recommend to others

We have just had our a/c replaced by F&D Joondalup and we are over the moon with the service. From the initial contact to there office by phone till the install was faultless. I cannot thank them enough. Installers were polite and knowledgeable and fitted it in less than a day. Once again F&D Joondalup. Thanks again.
