Amazing place! There is a friendly dog walking around.

Also I wear many hats, and the hats here I take my hat off for

I’m writing this review purely for constructive feedback.
1. We were ignored for a good 10 minutes when we walked in. There was no one else waiting. Outside, there were 2 other people
We finally ordered, but our friends who ordered after us were given their coffees first. However The coffee order was wrong. The coffee was incorrectly made.
Ordered a long mac topped up came out as a long black with oat milk added. When queried the lady told us she knew how to make a long mac. We requested it to be remade. She forgot and we had to remind her.
2. The people who ordered before us told us they’d been waiting 30 minutes so far. They said their mocha was ok.
3. We had to follow up with the staff for our order 20 minutes later. They had not made our order, asked us if we’d paid for it. They proceeded to make it. In total we waited 45 minutes for an iced coffee, an incorrectly made long mac that tasted like ‘blend 43’, a skim cap and cappuccino.

The ladies were lovely, and clearly quite stressed.

To note, the cafe was very clean and looked clean and new.

We had a fantastic experience @ Footprints over the recent long weekend. Family of 2 adults & a 4 year old. Each of us absolutely loved the resort, from the clean pool, the well-maintained property grounds, to the spacious chalets and comfortable atmosphere. We didn't have the best experience with the Café staff as they struggled to understand English, but I understand there staffing shortages everywhere at the moment.

We will definitely be back to stay again & highly recommend this accomodation to all families looking for a city break

Good relaxed accommodation. Shame the restaurant/poolside bar isn't open more for longer hours. Pool could use a bit of a clean but still enjoyable

Accommodation was spotlessly clean, gardens around the unit were well maintained, excellent surroundings. Restaurant & poolside bar is family friendly, great staff, excellent food. Faultless. We received a great welcome. We cannot wait to go back on our next visit in January. We highly recommend this family friendly venue. Sending a big thank you to Rick, Patty and all their staff!

Preston Beach is a bit boring, unless you want to 4WD on the beach. Perhaps live music or other entertainment for adults and kids on the resort will be great. A late night vibrant pub will bring the place alive.

The rooms are reasonable but some fittings are cheap and nasty. The man in the office had no interest in any issues with the room. Could have been a much better rating with just some small reinvestment into the upkeep of fittings.

Great staff but managers will let you down. Our hot water system didn't work and the best we were offered the use of the unit next door that had not been cleaned. Managers never returned phone calls, ever the emergency number went unanswered if it was not for the friendly staff at the Cafe this would be a zero star rating. This is a great family destination but if you have issues don't expect managers to help and you may leave feelings that you should of gone to Bali

If you follow below, you wont go wrong:

They have great beach shacks, clean and spacious for at least 2 small families or one big of 5-6 depends as they have 2 queen beds so you can plan accordingly.

Property has split aircorn, kitchen, washing machine, electric stove, dishwasher, fridge, kettle, toaster and microwave, so bring your basics and cook on the property nice and easy saving a lot of money and depending less on the service.

Covid has hit every propery and everyone is struggling with staff and keeeping up so all you can do is be kind.

Mandurah and Bunbury are approx 45 mins away only to have a quick drive and enjoy, Woorna & Harvey are just 30-35mins away so you can go to waroona IGA for anything you need as well, there is a local general store rigjt outside and they sell a lot of your requirements as well including gas/petrol station.

This property had contractor's living untill now for pas 1 year and probably back on the listing for families so please show them some love.

Great place to stay for vacation and travel around.

There are lakes, dams and bush around and lots to do including going to Ferguson valley, wellington Dam, honey moon pool, etc.

Plan ahead and enjoy the most.cheers

Went to footprints for dinner, ordered a chicken Parmy, had about 3 bites of chicken and the rest was just batter. Very unprofessional staff with constant arguing behind the bar and waiting around for someone to show up for me to order. Can't say I'll be returning

I have just eaten at the cafe. Robyn prepared the best share platter, fresh, colourful, tasty and great value for money. That’s made our day and we will be back rob $ kath

Really nice reception staff and that's where it stops unfortunately.dirty rooms, run down facility as a whole, horrible food, over priced, lazy house keeping staff, rude bar/restaurant lady, ticks, spider's and bugs in the rooms, cobwebs everywhere. Locals of Preston beach very unfriendly. Won't be back again!

Robin from the cafe is brilliant! New to the job and was running the kitchen herself. Cooked some of the best food i’ve ever eaten!

This place has so much potential and could do really well. The staff and management are really nice but unfortunately in business being nice people isn't enough.
The pool was that dirty I couldn't let my kids swim in it. And the toilets around the pool are similar to a public toilet you might see in Perth city or a train station. The Cafe was closed every time we needed to eat and on top of that I called reception for 2 days and no one was there. Seriously if you are going to leave or go home early is it too hard to divert the phone to someone's mobile?
If you are only interested in guests from the nearby mine sites then you should close to the public. We checked out a day earlier as it basically felt like we were staying at a mine site camp.
Not a good place to take your kids with all the drunk workers there being rowdy and urinating in the bushes.
