22 Microwaved/soggy pies n pastries
Lukewarm drinks fridge
Over priced buffet
Pointless venture for any trades
For the second time in a week i have bought items advertised on special labelled on the shelf but at the till was charged full price. I raised this with the checkout person the first time and again the second time.different items. This reduces my trust in the integrity of the business as a whole.
Nice shop - reasonably well stocked with a good selection and good variety of products. Good choice of pre prepared meals and salads. Lovely fresh fruit and vegetables.
Thank you SO much Margharita for the tremendous effort you put into providing food for our party in December. Nothing was too much trouble and the ham, beef and platters were fabulous. You are truly a gem and I hope that Foodies realise how fortunate they are to have you on staff.
Proper good shop, would recommend if passing by.
Extensive selection of whole foods and meal, super friendly staff too.
This place is a 5/5 and can’t fault it maybe a bit expensive because it is a “IGA” but the Large Roast Pork with Crackling & Gravy minus the Potato is a 5/5 and will keep you going all day.
They have special on product to help out the not so well off
The staff are always there to help and are 5/5 all day
Do yourself a favour grab the meal for lunch $18 and a can of drink sit at the Claremont Football Oval and think about how good life can be
Great selection of buffet food for takeaway, store in general is very well stocked, clean and good customer service.
The rice paper rolls and sushi was probably the driest I have ever had. The lunch choices are not great. Other IGA’s are better.
Went to buy fruit salad and took 10 mins to find somewhere to park because it’s a small carpark
Got this watermelon salad and the watermelon looked brown and tasted really bad
It seemed it’s been sitting here for a few days
And the most unpleasant part is this young blond woman at checkout
She touched the fork all over then threw the fork to the dirty table when I asked for one
Very bad manner
Go to Taylor road iga for fresh fruit friendly service and more parking
This is a great market.produce is excellent as is the variety of offerings throughout the market
Foodies Claremont was lucky to open doors as the start of covid. However they are now constantly ripping off customers at the check out. Staff will charge you for premium Roma tomato that are actually garden tomatoes.their staff can't apparently tell the difference between a $6per kilo 'garden tomato' from a $13 'Roma premium'. Funny that.when you tell the checkout girl the incorrect price you are confronted with an arrogance response of "well what do you want me to do about it? " manner. POOR form.
The staff behind the deli need to know they are actually there to serve the customers, not ignore us while we stand waiting for anyone of the 3 staff to come over and slice some ham.
As I said, you were lucky to pop up just before covid, but as locals we are sick of your poor service.
Convenient location and easy parking (mostly). Be careful though because pricing mistakes can and do often happen. Always take a mental note of the prices marked in store and watch as the items are rung up at the register. Many times in my experience incorrect prices have occurred. This is inevitably reflected in higher item prices for things such as mushrooms and tomatoes. Other 'mistakes' are standard items such as tomatoes and apples being scanned through at the premium product price which can be 50% higher.
We love this shop it is the only shop we have been to in over three weeks. Good selection, good fresh food and friendly staff. Many thanks
One of the best appointed supermarkets I have visited. Great selection, great service and a great feel. Love this shop.
Conveniently located supermarket with good long hours. However, the checkout needs to make sure all shoppers are treated equally. There should be preferential treatment only for older folks, pregnant ladies or physically disabled. There should be no preferential treatment for regulars - that's not fair to people who may be in a hurry. Not asking for express checkouts for people who are short of time but they should not be made to wait longer for regular customers!
Brilliant local supermarket. I love the fresh ready to go meals. So much variety! Great location and lots of parking. Only downside is that the bread and milk is located at the back of the shop. Would rather be near the entrance if I just need the essentials.
The in-shop pizzas (plain brown box) that they make to take home and bake are amazing!
Excellent store with a non-hectic feel like at Coles in the CQ. Laid back and friendly staff.
The range of fresh produce is great and the delicatessen that has all the ready meals, sandwiches and rolls is just brilliant.
Keep up the great work.
What a great little supermarket! My second visit since it opened and today at least, I had money in my pocket!
The superb Deli got my attention with 4 Hot Wings and at the Assistants recommendation, the Roast Beef.
The Best I have had in a year or two, the Beef gets top marks from me.
The Wings? Tasty, well cooked and filing. They were also small, a tad greasy and not quite as spicy as I was hoping. And four, for $5.99?
Next time I'll just stick to the Roast.
Still, I'd shop there every damn day if I could!
Great variety and such a big store. So good for the weekly shop as well as the casual drop in for lunch!
Waited for nothing but a ham and cheese toastie for 5 minutes, 4 people behind the good section just looking at me. I don't get much of a break for lunch and wasn't impressed that I went to the iga that has everything but nobody to sell me it.
