Great temple with doors always open for the public. The volunteers in there are very welcoming, too. Lunch offered on Sundays with donation:)
A wonderful place for peaceful reflection, sells the best quality incense and offers free meditation groups open to the public. I'm lucky enough to live down the street from this beautiful and welcoming place so I've been here many times. It's always been a lovely experience.
What to said but very disappointing.why, they have discrimination and are very forceful ($100 for the candle that is like (OMG), with that $100 you can buy a few from the Chinese shops in china town (NO that i don't have that money) before letting you pray.don't know why a beautiful place but had such bad mood from the people there.felt so sorry the co founder of the temple
Stay away! This is my advice. This place just wants your money. From the second you enter the door they force candles on you before you can enter the prayer room, some of them $100 plus! This place is run by very harsh speaking ladies who basically tell you to buy a candle or get out. I will not return!
Great internal decorations but location is not ideal. Parking is limited and visitors are forced to park on verge or far away.
I went there for 2 time yes, we have to paid for candles but I happy to pay because I feel amazing after I prayer.your heart have to believe the good luck will become to you.
The staffs/ valunteers are very friendly and helpful
It was a pleasant surprise to find out there's a Scout Troop afflicted there
Terrible experience, went there this morning after a few years, they had a praying session/event thingy going on for the whole day. The staff were not informative and friendly neither. Wanted to pray and enquire a peace symbol, straight away the staff sell me candles for peaceful symbol and said will do the praying for me, doesn't even care what kind of peace symbol I was enquiring for. Gave me the impression just wanted take my money and get the job done, thats not what a real temple would do. Totally felt unwelcome at all.
Truely an amazing place.the size, the design, the splendour, it's incredible.
One place you need to see for yourself.any description will not do it justice, simply spectacular.
Beautiful temple, both inside and out, very well maintained by the temples monks. Temple is very inviting.
Beautiful traditional Buddhist atmosphere, great location however parking can be difficult if there is an event on.
Don’t read too much into me not giving the fifth star. It’s a personal preference because I don’t particularly like being incessantly asked to donate for name plates, buy flowers or buy other items. People will contribute more willingly if there was a more gentle/passive approach.
Absolutely beautiful, peaceful, spiritual, cleeeaaannnn.the colours, the architechture.ahhh the monks
a blessed place to be able to attend here is very gratifying
lovely gift shop too
dont forget to take your shoes off before entering the main hall
I went there a few times, this temple likes to asking for money from visitors.
They will ask people to buy their flowers or candles.
I would prefer they charge money for ticket to entry.
Yes no doubt the venue is great, however when I realised both of deceased parents’ names went missing from the Pure Lamp Tower definitely was not a good experience.
Renewal annual fee for the service (x 2) was paid by cash months ago, but the staff was unable to find my record and other staff were too busy with working on member recruitment target. Nobody has a spare moment to resolve the issue during my last visit.
I was being advised to leave a written note at the reception counter and someone will get back to me. I have also follow-up with an email, however no response from them.
