Florsheim - Hay St.

I went to your store in the center of the city and I was treated very poorly by one of the salespeople. The difference in service with me as an immigrant compared to other customers was clearly noticeable. It was thick and rude, I left with a pair of shoes because I really liked the model and the price, but I hated the service. Australia is a multicultural country, we also pay taxes and should be treated with courtesy and at least fair treatment. I didn't understand that I should wear socks because of COVID because I didn't understand his explanation, then I asked for a bigger size and was warned that the shoe I chose was already correct, finally I said I was insecure because I thought it would be too tight, and I had to hear that shoes like that are for social occasions and not for wearing for a long time and walking out. I felt uncomfortable and disrespected. Definitely not coming back.

We bought 2 pairs of Nimbus shoes and matching belts for my husband. The manager is very knowledgeable, professional and personable. We were treated as proper guests and you hardly get that anywhere in Perth now. High class customer service.

I dropped into see if they had the same shoes I was given at Xmas a year or so ago. I was impressed with the shoes after not having a great run with the brand over ten years ago. Jason looked after us so well. He explained the issues back in the day with the changes to shoes tech etc. I walked out with four pairs or shoes and my wife bought some too! My brother gifted me a pair of shoes in the wrong size. The exchange process was seamless and the level of customer service was simply outstanding.

Came in the store today to look at purchasing a pair of dress shoes and was assisted by one of the elderly gentlemen in the store. Very rude, constant snarky remarks and dismissive of any comments. Safe to say left the store without purchasing anything and a bad taste.

Excellent service with a high attention to detail. Pleasant environment with a good range of shoes. Sales person was friendly, knowledgeable and experienced. I'm very happy with a purchase of comfortable and well designed leather shoes.

Having worked in a shoe shop in my teens, I always keep an ear out for good advice. Jason really impressed me to a point where I came back 3 times. His knowledge around shoes, their fit and what to look out for was really informative and also taught me a few new things as well.

Excellent service from the guys at Florsheim Hay Street. I got my sizing wrong earlier in the day and, when swinging by later to resolve, their patient and knowledgeable service was much appreciated.

I now have a comfortable (an fitting) pair of shoes!

Consistently poor or, non existent service. Wandered around the store and not so much as an offer of assistance or, a hello. This has been the case in my experience of the Hay St store, for a long time.
I no longer waste my time, I buy online or, visit the Watertown store where staff are polite, courteous, and always helpful.

Just wanted to give some recognition to Alex for his excellent service. He was extremely knowledgeable about his products and was very thorough in making sure I left the store with shoes that both looked and felt great. I could tell that he takes pride in his work and I felt that he genuinely wanted to make shopping in the store a nice experience. Great stuff!

We were greeted and served by Jason. You can tell that he is genuinely interested to match you with the perfect shoe. Every single detail was considered right down to the right fit and right shade of brown to fit the navy suit we had with us. Amazing service!
