Float and Restore

Float vouchers turned out to be a unique and refreshing Christmas gift for my partner and I. Our first experience ever in a float tank back in April was relaxing and peaceful. The staff and complimentary amenities during our visit were welcoming and facilitated a comfortable experience. I especially enjoyed the relaxation room at the end of our float, where there was a hair dryer, comb and herbal tea. We were able to get ourselves ready to head back out again straight after our visit.

The float itself was relaxing, although I believe I would benefit from the meditation more after more practice. It was a little difficult to completely shut my brain off to properly immerse myself in the experience, but I enjoyed it nevertheless. Would love to come back.

I received a voucher for float and restore months ago and kept having to cancel. I finally got in this week and am kicking myself I didn't go earlier! Exceeded my expectations. I felt so relaxed leaving. The sauna is obviously very hot (you can turn it down), personally I feel like it's something I need to build up tolerance to but it is relaxing. The float was not what I expected, I thought I would be bored but I really relaxed and it made me de stress. But the massage, that was my favourite. I had Steven and he really has magic hands. He was guessing reasons for the different tensions I had and was spot on everytime. I felt like he released so many muscles and we only had 45 mins. I've booked in again for next week. Will definitely be a regular here and am looking at membership options to keep me on track. Staff are all friendly and patient also.

Used my Christmas voucher today. Awesome massage by Alicia. Float amazing. Big tick for the robes that are warm and fluffy AND fit big people. Only negative the filter kicking in at the end of the session while your in the shower. Bit of a buzz kill. And the licorice tea was not my first choice. I will be back

I did the infared sauna and an hr float today and absolutely loved it. I feel refreshed and would recommend those who just need a bit of time out to re-energize to do yourself a favour and book a float.

I attended Float and Restore Cannington today and it was absolutely beautiful! My husband and I were gifted a voucher for a couples massage followed by a 1 hour float session. Heaven! After a few stressful months I found myself completely thoughtless. I was so relaxed and walked out feeling incredible! The staff were so knowledgeable and friendly! The chill out room and peppermint tea was delicious and a great addition to the service! We will definitely be back again! Thank you so much!

My first experience at a spa. It was amazing. I got the sauna, float and massage back to back and it was the best experience ever. Loved the staff and the professionalism. Also the lemongrass ginger tea they offered was so tasty:)

Went here with my gf, firstly the music didn't turn on for both of us until sometime into the float making us both think it was broken.

But the worst thing is I could hear doors banging closed, and a guy getting a massage in the next room talking! The point of floats is to disconnect not constantly be distracted.

I've floated elsewhere and loved it but this was shocking

I had my 1st float here an absolutely loved it.
Was a bit worried being in a pod, but it never worried me at all.
I will be going back for more, as I felt so relaxed. My skin felt fabulous.

Overall disappointed, went in for a Sauna, Float and Massage. Sauna was really good, Float pod 1 had issues (buttons not working so light stayed on and no music /controls) that made me get out to try and get resolved twice and in the end gave up on the float as I would of had only 10min left in the pod. Waited for the massage that was great. The reason for a 2 star is The Floating experience is meant to be relaxing and the core of the business and that kind of destroyed the whole experience.

Highly recommend Float & Restore at both Joondalup & Wangara. The environment was so calming, peaceful & relaxing:) The massage therapist Kathleen was awesome.she not only gave me a great sports remedial massage but also suggested stretches & foam rolling to help me. I felt extremely comfortable and enjoyed my experience! I love how relaxing my float experience as also:)
I will be back and would also recommend a great Gift purchase if you want to spoil someone. A very Satisfied Customer:)

I received a birthday surprise of a float tank session. Sooo amazing. I fell asleep in the tank. Highly recommend this place. Can’t wait to go back for a massage and sauna. Very clean and super relaxing

Great place, with good quality amenities, ALWAYS clean and to top it off there is always a warm, kind and welcoming receptionist waiting to greet you! Would definitely recommend.

Great relaxing experience, friendly atmosphere. I will definitely be back. I have rated them 4 stars as I feel they should provide better towels or at least advice you to bring your own. The towel provided is more like a large piece of Muslin and doesn’t do the job after a long soak!

I absolutely recommend this. It's so relaxing. Great if you're feeling stressed. You can choose what music you'd like to play while you float. I chose relaxing music

Excellent venue. The float was very good. I adjusted it to suit my preferences and it went well. The ability to enjoy movement pretty much without gravity weighing down was awesome, especially for injured body parts. The massage afterwards was a great workout and finished the day well. Will be back very soon.

I walked into the joondalup store on Tuesday to see if I could book in as it was my birthday and I wanted to treat myself. I got squeezed into an appointment for 2pm and told to return a bit before to fill in paperwork etc.

Upon arrival, I was told that the therapist was running 10 mins behind. That’s fine. I was happy to wait 10 mins.well over 45 mins later, I was still waiting in the waiting area, sipping tea, trying to get into the right mindset.

I then got completely disheartened and decided that it just wasn’t going to happen. I walked into reception to be told no definitive timeframe for when my 2pm appointment would commence and that the therapist would be available at some stage, I walked out, trying to be nice. I burst into tears approaching my car.

The lack of communication and the fact that I wasn’t even an after thought is completely hurtful. It is now Thursday lunchtime and I have heard absolutely nothing from any person representing float and restore in the way of an apology or any type of explanation.

Yes, it was my choice to leave, but I made that appointment knowing I had a small window of time with having 3 kids (2 with special needs) to find my relaxation.

Edit** I have since received a phone call and a free float for the misunderstanding.

They have set the bar so high for spa and massage experience. Very happy with service and massage. Float tank was the best experience! Will be spreading the word!

I had the pleasure of doing a float and a Massage with Float and restore. I absolutely loved the place from walking through the door. The staff was amazing and it’s a very relaxed environment. Loved how I could chill out and drink some beautiful hot tea afterwards in the little relaxing room they had. Can highly recommend both the float and massage to relieve stress and anxiety.
