Flipside Burgers

Unsure which area to start first. Food or customer service?
I'll do customer service as for me it is so important but so lacking these days, but NOT at Flipside! Great service, really friendly and with a smile!
Food, yum! Those burgers are so satisfying, had a couple of different ones now and cant fault! Juicy and delicious.

I stopped in at flipside today for the first time in many years. Good to see they were adhering by the covid rules. I had their classic burger with pickles, and couldn't fault it - delicious. The bun itself was tasty with a slight crunch, the beef patty perfect, and the salad ingredients were fresh and tasty, all the ingredients complimented each other perfectly.
Staff were friendly, polite with great service.
Thanks flipside, I'll be back for more.

Service and chips were fantastic.

Burgers lacked taste, unsized patties and oversized pickles.

Accidentally ordered to flipside Wembley, instead of here. Came to pick up and obviously they hadn't made anything for us. Ended up making our orders in 5 min. So much better than Grill'd.

They make a really great burger. I had the chicken and it was perfect. They even toast the bun. Well done!

Always good quality. I guess it’s a bit of a gourmet burger place. You can order and go next door to the bar for a drink while you wait.

Too many flies on a hot day and got food poisoning from the lettuce. Ended up having diaorhea for 5 days. BEWARE!

Flipside is the basic girl of burgers joints. Not to say there is anything wrong with the burger, there just isn’t anything right about it. The Relish is definitely the special part but everything else is a little subpar. Still a really enjoyable burger!

Tasty burgers, decently priced for a gourmet burger, fantastic ability to order food here and then sit in Mrs Browne's bar next door for a few beverages.

Excellant Burgers. I also like that you can order your food & go nextdoor to Mrs Browns wine bar & they will bring it into you. Good to see two business working together.

Been here several times over the years.all our overseas visitors love your burgers. The burgers and chips are as delicious as the first time we ate there.thank you for keeping your high standards and your friendly service.please keep it up!

Wish I could give no stars.
First, couldnt pay cash (due to COVID-19), which is illegal but yeah, fair enough. Then made to wait outside in the freezing cold and rain (COVID-19 again!) despite there being NO ONE else in the restaurant and easily a distance of 1.5m between ANYONE!
Girl with the blue hair then proceeded to maintain a distance of easily less than 1.5 with her workmate whilst talking rubbish!

Phoned in an order - one burger - and was told 10 minutes. Got there 10 minutes later, paid, and was told it will be 2-3 minutes. Finally got my (single) burger 35 minutes after I placed the order, so I assume they only started cooking it 25 minutes after I rang.
Yes I know it gets busy, these things happen, but can you please educate your staff not to overpromise on pickup times? If you know you've got a dozen other orders to get through, don't tell people it will be ready in 10 minutes! Even if you mess up over the phone, tell me in store that you're running a bit late! I would much rather have taken a walk around the neighbourhood than sit on a tiny little stool twiddling my thumbs for 20 minutes because you've told me my order is "coming up next". The kitchen seemed very chaotic, have someone take ownership of the orders and communicate delays to customers.
Burger was nice by the way.

Gotta love flipside, and this one live up to the high standards of the franchise. Enjoyed their $11 lunch special.much love <3

Awesome burgers! Even better that you can go to the bottle shop next store (Awesome range) and BYO with your burger

I have always rated flip side highly but it seems their standards have slipped. The burgers were lacking dressing, patties were bland. The chips were over cooked it was like they were old. I asked for relish for my chips they forgot to pack it. It seems they were distracted by staff next door.

Always top notch burgers without being too burgery. Chips are excellent and staff are generally awesome. Plus, where else can you sir at the bar next door and order a burger from the joint next door?

Amazing place for a great feed. They have a delicious range if burgers and the chips are some of the best in the game. Would recommend to anyone!

Love flipside for a good burger, they do the classics really well and have options for every dietary requirement. Best buns around I think.

Stoked to find this little slice of heaven so close to home. Genuine and friendly service coupled with delicious food and a wide range of non-alcoholic beverages (we had kombucha!) this has to be the best burger joint in Freo!
