I registered with Flexi Staff a few weeks ago looking for weekend work. Since then I have worked every Saturday at various events. The process of signing up was easy and the recruiter who saw me Sebastian was extremely friendly and helpful. I have already recommended a friend to go and see them.

My name is Ayoub El Mkadem, 22 years old, recently arrived in Australia I decided to look for work as a labourer, after a morning of applying on seek, a company (Flexi Staff) contacted me so that we could see the afternoon even for an appointment.
The appointment is with Maria Camacho, it is going very well, I do not have a good level in English, she takes the time to understand me and to explain things clearly to me, at the end of this appointment she offers me a 2-day mission as a laborer which I accept.
The following week it was more complicated…
I had to wake up every morning at 5: 30 a.m. 6 a.m. To accept assignments sent at the last minute, and even if I was lucky. Finally when I received my pay I realized that I did not was taxed correctly, indeed I was taxed as a resident when I had completed all my documents for my pay (superannuation, tfn,) result $ 210 taxed too much.
A friend who has a good level in English and who has already had this kind of problem calls them, he tries at the beginning to tell her that I will be reimbursed at the time of my return tax, that is to say in a year, however the latter explains to them that this situation has already happened to him and that in general the company reimburses 1 week later.
1 week after the problem is rectified.
The week of problems arrives. On Monday 09/19/2022 I carry out a 7 hour mission for their account at Rotnest Island, I was also scheduled for Wednesday but 1 day before he tells me that he does not need me but that they will send me back to work on the island as Housekeeping on Friday. Unfortunately I learn on Wednesday 09/21/2022 of the death of a relative in France. I hasten to take the first flight to attend the burial. So in a hurry, I completely forgot to warn them of my absence on Friday, here are my faults, however I sent an email on Friday at 5 p.m. To apologize and explain the situation.
The following week I returned to Australia and simply noticed that Flexi Staff had not paid me on the Monday I worked, i.e. $196 gross. I decided to send an email to Maria Camacho, Sébastien, the email hospitality. No answer. I decide to call.
I have Sébastien on the phone, the first thing he asks me when I ask him for my pay, why didn't you come on Friday. I don't even know if I'm going to be paid, this text is a bit long but I would like to make people who read it understand that you should not work with this company, they are not really worth it but really not worth it, I hope that my opinion will be used to advise people in their choices.

Flexi staff were great team to work with.

Signing up to work was easy and efficient.

They were fast and got me a job quickly. Highly recommended.

If you want to be exploited, work for flexistaff! This shady excuse of an agency should be shut down.

Negligent and unprofessional. They called me to have an interview. They made me fill a very long form with a large part of 'optional questions' (it seems they were mandatory). They were supposed to read my resume, but it seems they didn't. They ask me about something that was expressly written in the resume. They made go to their place for nothing. A waste of time and a complete unpleasant experience.

Flexi staff were great to work with. Signing up to work was easy and efficient. Jake was a super great communicator and got me on a job quickly. Highly reccomend.

Flexistaff has a very helpful management team and offers lots of opportunities to work in hospitality - particularly over the weekend. All of the staff are experienced and great to work with

As a mum, it has been really great for getting back into the workforce. Definitely try if you are in need of something that suits you

Do not use! Are unreliable! Limited number of candidates provided for required positions needed to be filled! When they have, they have not met the basic requirements or are poor quality!

Have a ridiculous very high turnover in their own staff! Are unable to meet employment conditions for their own clients and employees! Their staff are very unprofessional, untrustworthy and provide little assistance (quite often your doing the work for them)! Centrelink are more professional! You'll save yourself a lot a time and effort (+ a big headache) as an employer or employee if you do not use FlexiStaff!

Staff are really nice, and helpful. When waiting in the waiting room you feel relaxed. Which actual helped me calm my nerves for my interview there.

Flexistaff is untrustworthy and wont look after you or your needs, I had my tools stolen at one of their sites and they wont replace them or compensate for the theft of all my tools. Their response was "They never asked or told me to take my tools to work and not accountable for my lose" even though the job required me to have hand tools and precise tools for the job.
When I approached them about my loss all they did was make excuses and wash their hands of the matter.
I will never work for this recruitment agency again

I initially worked for Flexi Staff for a 6 month period and everything was great until covid hit and my hours became reduced. Because of this, I felt it wasn’t worth continuing the role and handed in my notice immediately which did not go down well.

GP was insanely rude, condescending, and abusive to an extent. I contacted the administration to lodge a complaint but that was like pulling out teeth because J was so full of s_t.

Employers, if you’re looking for staff I would recommend avoiding Flexi Staff and finding an agency that doesn’t abuse and mistreat their contractors.

True, told me I had a job then after multiple emails and attempts to actually start and get shifts they ghosted me. After requesting help from them to activate the portal on multiple occasions they never got back to me and left me hanging. Went with auscare 10/10 best aged care agency

Very unprofessional staff, no value for others time.
They asked me to do online questionnaires and I completed and then they said I did wrong and did not even showed me which one I did wrong then they just said you can try after 6 months.

I have been signed up with flexi staff for 8 years, I finally contacted them today in regards to a position that the supervisor of this council messaged me about, I am very highly qualified however I didnt get my resume sent out and now the position is filled. 8 years and not one call from them and i have missed out on so many opportunities and now been unemployed for a year am desperately in need of a position, do not go through this agency, they only sign you up to get money off the government for doing so. They do not care and when told they will call you back they never do. Very unprofessional in more ways then one. It's called a job agency do your job your employed to do or give it to someone that will

Highly reccomend avoiding this company and here's a few reasons why.

1. I got called in and interviewed when there were clearly no available jobs.
2. It took 3 weeks before receiving an email about a possible job.
3. After calling up (only to be told to email) and then emailing wanting to know about this job I got no help and no replies. I then called again the week later to ask again and the job was finished.
4. After this I asked to be taken off the registry and the girl doesn't take any details and hangs up on me.

They literally do not care.

I'm lucky I was contacted by a different agency at the same time and have been working full time hours.

Do yourself a favour and go with any other agency
