Flavour of Punjab reviews
32The Food was fresh and delicious, Welcoming and friendly staff, We all enjoyed it, Highly Recommended
Delish meals full of flavour and addictive! We always get the cauliflower bites and butter chicken plus the prawn dishes! The kids are getting used to strong fresh Garlic naan bread.
We have been here twice and the experience and the food just gets better. The husband and wife team serve great food and a friendly atmosphere. The wife even gave us complimentary papadums with our biriyani rice dishes. If you love Indian food.you will not be disappointed
This is one of mine and my partner's favourite restaurants to eat at. The staff are always so friendly and welcoming, and the food is amazing!
We had the Butter Chicken, Lamb Rogan Josh, Garlic Naan along with saffron rice. The portions were incredibly generous (and after eating our fill, so much takeaway left for another day) and the meals full of flavour~ For dessert, the Mango Kulfi and a drink of Mango Lassi.really loved them as it was really creamy and sweet, and the Mango strong!
We will always keep coming here because it offers nothing but a good experience, and we highly recommend it to everyone~
Me & my partner love this place. I always get a paneer dish & he loves the butter chicken. It’s never too oily and we always enjoy our left overs the next day. The naan is to die for and the service is fab, stoked to have this around the corner from us:)
$22 for a curry is bad enough. Then you have the audacity to put potato in the chicken vindaloo. Never again
We use this place 2/3 times per week, since they went under new management the staff are soooo friendly and great to chat to, the food is great, I have no problems here at all and coming from the UK and the Curry Mile in Rusholme then I know my curries and recognise a good curry, you won’t go wrong here!
Food is excellent. Very good serving sizes.
Lovely lady on front of house/service was fantastic. Made us feel very welcome.
Great place for your indian food
Ordered Pickup food,
The Kadhai paneer- Taste so bitter and ridiculous
Daal - TOTALLY UNCOOKED
Roti/ kulcha - Still okay
Gajar Halwa- Never had that much worst.
This place needs a-lot of hard-work and chef really needs to eat food before sending to customers or change the chef.
Will try this place after 2-3 months, won’t expect same.
Very nice food at reasonable rate. Highly recommend if you are trying to taste Punjabi food.
Ordered egg fried rice and onion bhaji. Unfortunately, I believe the chef had forgotten to add salt for the fried rice. The onion bhaji was not completely cooked. Kind of a disappointment. I strongly suggest the management to review their menu prices.
Ordered butter chicken and lamb rogan josh through uber eats. Best Indian I've ever had, this will be my go to from now on
By far the worst Chicken Tikka Masala I’ve had in Perth. 4 pieces of chicken total. No flavour. Just onion and tomato sauce. Furious.
Edit: one piece of chicken was pure cartilage. Total waste of money.
Edit: response from the owner is not true. No refund received via Uber Eats and no phone call had taken place.
We Dine-in, start with four different entree followed by five mains curry, the food is fresh & excellent. Very friendly service. Every dish has different flavour. Kids loved the lamb chops. The Price is very good 8 adults cost $250. Worth to visit? .
One of the best indian restaurants i have ever been. Things taste delicious. Suggestion for people around to be there once to get the real experience.
First time ordering dinner here tonight and my belly is thanking me for it. I ordered takeaway and the food was ready in around 15 minutes. By the time I got home, everything was still hot and fresh. I enjoyed every bite and would highly recommend this restaurant
Ordered from here about 2 months ago and it was good, even thought I had to wait ages for food, but garlic naan was bland.
Decided to order from here again tonight and things have changed dramatically. I ordered 2 hours in advance for a set time. I had to walk out without some of my order because it was taking too long and U couldn't wait around any longer. Judging by the food we did get it wouldn't have been worth the wait anyway. The tandoori chicken was dry and my wife couldn't even get through one piece of it. I'm not sure how, considering all of the ingredients that go into it, but the lamb Rogan Josh was absolutely flavourless, the glass of water I had to wash the tandoori chicken down actually had more flavour.
The garlic naan was better than last time and had garlic on it.
Must be a new chef or something. Some guy, who I think was quite rude to the staff, wasn't happy with his order and didn't like how some of his regular things had changed. He said he ate there once or twice a week for the last 12 months.
Anyway, based on the slow service and lack of flavour in our food, we won't be back and also can't recommend the place.
Great quality and authentic spices.
Absolutely loved the curries and garlic naan.
Beef Vindaloo, Lamb Rogan josh and butter chicken is a must try. Highly recommended
The meal was fantastic. Never disappointed with their meals.
There is convenient parking behind the business.
I generally don't do reviews but something prompted me to do so about this restaurant. I've tried heaps of Indian restaurants mainly in Sydney and Perth, this is by far the best I've come across. The flavours, taste and quality of food exceeds expectations everytime. Lucky to have this gem in Perth and a must try for that authentic Indian food.
