Definitely not great. Steamed rice was grey and dry, like it had been reheated in the microwave not fresh. Dishes were mostly fill ingredients, less than 10% meat in a satay beef if that, was mostly onion and cauliflower, similar for other dishes. Overcooked oily spring rolls. Kway Teow was the best dish we had out of many sadly. Flaming Wok used to be great in the past, when they had dine-in previously we had eaten there several times, and the takeaway was always good. Not so now, expensive and poor food. The price I don't mind for good quality, it's sometimes worth paying for quality, but this was not quality.

A positive first, the staff were very pleasant. Unfortunately, this place is NOT value for money. We only ordered three take away mains and it cost us over $50, but the portions were so small! The Szechuan beef was super sweet with no spice and there was barely any in the container (see photo), satay chicken was watery, and the sweet and sour pork had batter so thick it wasn't cooked through.

The steamed rice was grey; I don’t think it was made freshly. The lemon chicken and combination omelette were kind of soggy and tasteless. Not even complimentary prawn crackers were provided. All in all, I wouldn’t go back.

Had a few dishes tonight. Unsure how this has over 4 stars, close to the worst chinese food I've ever had. Fried rice had a burnt taste, honey chicken over cooked and just tasted oily and the beef and veggie dish was basically veggies id say maybe 5 super thinly slices beef strips in the whole container. Only thing that tasted decent was the veggies. Very disappointed definitely better chinese around the area that taste good.

Satay beef, special fried rice, Gralic Beef, Fried Kway-teow, & vegetarian springrolls.
All perfectly cooked & very fresh & tasty.

Garlic beef dish was a stunner.

Good service and tasty food. But the price is a bit too high, compared to other Cantonese restaurant.

It's our other Chinese takeaway shop. The food is tasty and plenty to choose from! I recommend their peppered steak fillet! Price wise, well, around the $12 - 15 for most chicken, beef and pork dishes, higher for seafood. For our family of three, we'd spend around $40 for dinner. The lady at the counter is very friendly. I think she'd recognise me by now. The restaurant has seating inside, though a little bit narrow. Parking is a breeze.

Reasonable food and reasonable service, but appalling value for money.
Double the expected price for pretty much middle of the road food makes this place hard to recommend.

They have delicious vegan options available, and the girl at the front desk is always very friendly and helpful!

We ordered special fried rice, curry beef, Mongolian beef, satay chicken, chicken omelete and salt and pepper squid. All tasted very nice - only criticisms: servings are half the size of somewhere like Shelley Hub and the satay chicken had more onion than chicken in it.

Just picked up takeaway for a special night, it was terrible, rice was so salty even my husband didn't like it, the satay chicken didn't have any satay sauce in it just a bit of runny sauce the same with the pepper beef. Only went there as it was just down the road and the Penang delight and Waratah were closed, will wait it out for the Penang delight next time always good and cheaper as well.

Great chinese take away. Dishes are fimilar and taste how you'd expect them to taste and are all very tastey: P The honey chicken and sweet n sour pork are nice an crispy. Very nice Satay beef too, all the different dishes are nice that I've tried and better than the best chinese food in a good food court.

Ordered king prawn with garlic sauce, fried kwai tiaw and egg fried rice. They raised prices from the menu but didn't advise us until I asked them. The eggs in the fried rice and kwai tiaw weren't fresh. It was salted snd pre-made. There were only a few prawns in the king prawn dish and the size was closer to shripms than to king prawns. Taste wasn't bad but not going back as they are 2-3dollars more expensive (per dish) than other Chinese takeaway restaurants we tried before.

Food was awful, S&S Pork was soggy, noodles were stale, found a hair in my food, flavour terrible, small portions. Phoned to complain & was told next time I order they'll take 10% off my next order! Um- there will be NO next time

Food was nice, but the dining area is a little cramped and shared with the take-out pickup area. Basically it looks like the dining area has been retrofitted into the take-out pickup area. Won't dine there again but won't have any problem getting take-out.

This little shop has been sitting in Canning Vale for years and we never thought to try it - instead going to 'the golden bbq' at the markets. Since we tried it we haven't been back to the old shop. Flamming Wok is delicious, quick, fresh and pretty standard with pricing. Definitely reccomend it. I actually love the little pocket of shops it sits in - best IGA also!

Food came out very quick, was a good size, good quantity and quality for the price. Dine in area isn't very large or decorated, but I go out for food not sightseeing.
